Never heard of plastic getting a patina before, each to their own though.
Patina is a word that can universally used to describe wear or aging of a product.

Working in the motor trade, particularly with old 1970/80’s cars, you hear it a lot.

Plastic lol, the person I quoted has a plastic case all scratched up, that’s not patina. I’ve heard it all now.

Nice choice(s)! They really made some nicely colored cases this year. And they’ll both look great w graphite. Cool, look forward to the pics.
Thanks! I almost thought about purchasing the kumquat, but I wasn’t sure if it would be too ‘halloweeny’ for a year-round case. I do like the color though! Just not sure how I felt about it with the graphite.

Hi all, read more or less all the 140+ thread pages. I am an (old) iphone user from Italy, bought nearly a dozen of cases but many of them don't fit properly, or leave me with the impression that can scrath the frame.
Caudabe or nomad where my first choice bet is sooo difficult to get them here. Liked the philosophy of spgen liquid air (soft clear tpu) but edges are so sharp and fit is too thin for me (I don't know if possible it scratched my PB 12 PM, then I moved to graphite) so I would like a VERY soft tpu clear case and another soft one let's say..in black (Have also the Ciryll silicone, apart from the bottom that is very filmsy I like it). I would also opt for a Hybrid one if only I where sure that the stailess frame sits on soft gum and cano not be damages. I appreciate cases that can easily be removed for cleaning.
Many many thanks for your help.

Why does nobody want to make a red case to match the red phone? There are a few as Casetify makes a red one, as does Rhinoshield but no interest in either case. I wish UAG made the Civilian in red. Sigh...

I've purchased and sampled quite a few so far for my 12 Pro in graphite, keeping some and sending back others (not sure at what point Amazon prohibits free returns on your account, but I wouldn't be shocked if I was getting close):

Tried and Returned:

- Apple leather in saddle and baltic blue (liked the Mag Safe and fit, but felt the leather quality was sorely lacking compared to prior Apple leather cases I've had)
- Apple silicone in Cyprus Green (really liked this case, and especially the color - just hard justifying the price)
- Mujjo leather in slate green (leather was okay, but the buttons were sub par)
- Tech 21 Evo Clear (liked it fine, but not for the price when other clear cases seemed just fine)
- Otterbox Symmetry Clear (fit well - not as difficult to install and remove as some have said, IMO - but didn't think the price was justified)
- ESR Cloud Series (didn't like it at all - too flimsy)
- Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear (not bad, but liked the ESR Tough Clear better and they were the same price)
- Spigen Thin Fit in Red (liked the case but returned the red and ordered a different color - see below)
- CYRILL Color Brick (overall, solid case, good grip, fingerprint magnet on back cover; had bought a very similar one that basically made this a duplicate, so no need to keep)
- TORRAS Crystal Clear (case looks good and is nice and thing, but the buttons were terrible)
- Tech21 Evo Slim (really liked this case, as it had a nice feel in the hand - not too slick, but nice and smooth - but couldn't justify keeping it for the price when I have other black cases already. Had I ordered it prior to the Spigen Liquid Air Armor, might have kept this one instead).

Kept:

- TORRAS Shockproof (basically the same as the Color Brick - grippy sides with the matte, translucent back. Wish I'd kept the box longer and I would have returned this and potentially kept the Color Brick since it was a few buck less and they seem to basically be the same case)
- ESR Tough Clear (good little clear case - nothing special, but looks pretty good, fits well, buttons are good, and was inexpensive)
- Ringke Onyx (ordered gray, green, black, and navy - kept the Navy and returned the other colors)
- Spigen Thin Fit in Navy Blue (really like this case - back is fairly slick but has a great color and feel, but sides are grippy enough. Fits well, buttons work great, and the navy blue color is great. These seem to come in somewhat different materials depending on the color - my wife has this one in the mint green color and it's more of a silicone feel across the full case, versus this that fees more plastic/metallic on the back)
- Spigen Liquid Air Armor (like this case overall - texture is pretty good, buttons work well, allegedly provides a bit of drop protection)
- Bullstrap leather in Sienna color (love this case and is on par with the prior Apple leather cases that I've had. Smells great, buttons are great.)

On the way to try out:

- Urban Armor Gear Civilian in Mallard - wanting something with a bit more protection when needed than the others I've got/have kept, and after seeing a lot of folks talk about it, couldn't resist with the 25% end of year discount. It's supposed to be here Wednesday.
- Caudabe Sheath in Ocean Blue for me and Sea Green for the wife - everyone who has one seems to rave about it, and I am a sucker for all things blue, so wanted to give it a try, and seemed like a decent deal with the 20% off they've been doing the last week or so.

They must be slacking now.
I've ordered tons of cases from UAG direct and usually the next business day around 11-12 I would receive an email with the tracking number.

A couple new single stack Glock's and that's about it. ;)

Off topic, but are they for CC? I've been meaning to get a CC permit and a single stack, but I would be kind of worried carrying a chambered Glock since it has no thumb safety. Is that something you would be worried about for CC when you're going to be around and potentially playing with kids and stuff? I would be scared that one of my kids might get a finger in there or something, so I was thinking about maybe an M&P single stack.
