The Catalyst is a bird of a different feather. I love the case but for everyday use you can't beat the Cyrill (fake) Leather.
It's really a toss up. If you choose the graphite Cyrill case it has the MagSafe magnets built in for $22.99
The Cataylst works with the MagSafe charger but I'm not sure about the wallet as I don't have one.
Would you go with the Cyrill leather over the Cyrill brick?

Absolutely. The brick is a fantastic case if you don't mind a bunch of greasy fingerprints on the back.
I wash my hands 10 times a day and the fingerprints drove me insane.
Also, these fingerprints do not wipe off easy on the brick case.

Real leather would of been good, that catalyst looks good $67AUD here though.

Thanks for the reply. I was looking at both the Candyshell Pro or the Presidio2 Pro to purchase alongside my leather cases so good to hear it seems you had no issues with yours.
I have the Presidio2 Pro in rotation. It’s a nice case for sure. But I should mention a couple of things people didn’t like about it: it “bows” so you can lay it on its back and spin it like a top; the mute switch cutout is oversized and off centered. I actually don’t see either as an issue and prefer the oversized mute toggle cutout for easy access. My personal gripe is how hard it is to put the case on and take it off. But truly a nice protective case, with a nice soft touch finish and seems to provide excellent protection. No sagging anywhere, no seems and pinky friendly port cutout. The black looks n wry nice imo and the buttons are very nice. I have pics somewhere in this thread.

I just got my 12 Pro Max. I was not prepared for how much bigger this would feel. I got a Spigen Ultra Hybrid as my temp case and it feels huge. The size of the phone naked feels good but I can’t leave it naked with my 1 year old grabbing it all the time. And I love the color.... so now I gotta find the unicorn of a clear, protective, slim case. Does such a thing exist? I was this close to ordering a CASETiFY Ultra Impact too.

Used this with my X. Love it.

Ringke Oynx is a great minimalist case. Fantastic buttons, excellent grip and overall a wonderful case for $10.99
Even with the three raised areas on the back the case still wobbles on the camera hump (12PM).
I would compare this case to the Caudabe Sheath with way better buttons & grip.
Here are a couple pics:

I wound up ordering a Ringke Onyx. I couldn't resist a Caudabe Sheath with better grip and buttons. I'm hoping it's more forgiving on my pinky finger because the Sheath turned out to be brutal. By the way, this thread is turning me into a liar! After proclaiming I would purchase just one case this year, I'm now up to four. Ugh.

I ordered a Caudabe Sheath this morning. Might order a Ringke Onyx also to compare. I looked at the Spigen Thin Fit but there wasn't a drop rating so I was hesitant. I remember having a Sheath with my X and not having any issues after dropping the phone several times... lol.

There also seem to be a few negative reviews on Amazon for the Spigen Thin Fit, but reading thru them they mostly seem to be complaining that it's not like the old version of the case. Think imma try it anyway!

I really like the thin fit. There are two different finishes though - one that is more matte, silicone like, and the other more shiny/metallic like. I have the navy that is more metallic and my wife has the mint that is more soft and silicone like. Both solid cases, though I prefer the more metallic style personally.

Caudabe Sheath VS Ringke Onyx

Sheath 28.5 Grams
Onyx 34.7 Grams

Sheath $29.00
Onyx $10.99

Both fantastic thin cases but IMO the Onyx blows the Sheath away.
Onyx has a perfect grip, perfect buttons and would protect the phone much better in a drop than the Sheath.
Side glass protection is very minimal with the Onyx but otherwise it's one fantastic thin case for the 12PM.
I tried to take a couple side by side pics but I'm working with really gimped equipment at the moment.
Both cases are black but look kind of grey in these pics:

After 2 months of searching for a clear case with great buttons, I've found one. The Tech21 Evo Clear. Got it earlier this afternoon and put it on right away. Fit is perfect (& quite snug). Cutouts are asymmetrical and the buttons....are just as good as the black leather Apple case I was just using! It has just the right amount of lip on the front to provide protection, but doesn't effect swiping. I like this case far better than the clear OB Symmetry. The buttons on that case were complete garbage. I think someone earlier mentioned that the Evo Clear was slippery, but I haven't found that to be the case. Feels great in the hand and passes the pinky pressure test too.
