I’m unfollowing this thread as it’s bad for my savings. It’s been great while it lasted but I can’t go on like this.

Ah, the joy of accessories: iPhone cases, Watch bands and yes, office supplies!

Our man J Williams likes the Ringke Oynx. Check his vid:

I wondered, I google'd, I found...

MIL-STD-810G drop test consists in testing the resistance to shock of all the equipment surface: all faces, edges, and corners. In total, 26 drops from about 4 feet (phones, laptops) are necessary to perform the complete drop test. Since tests are done to test specific areas of the equipment, manufacturers can divide the 26 drops over five different devices. After each drop, the equipment is inspected for damage.

Also, the drop surface is 2-inches of plywood (on top of concrete) because it is the most likely surface that things fall onto in a military transport context.

If it's not dropped on concrete it's not a drop test.
I wonder how soft that plywood really is lol.

I've got the thin fit in Navy Blue and really like it. My wife has the thin fit in mint and likes it.

It's interesting that some of them are more silicone is feel (like my wife's mint color) and others are more metallic in feel (like my navy blue).

Excellent case in my opinion. It's one of the top 4 I rotate through along with the green Apple silicone, Bullstrap Sienna leather, and Caudabe sheath in ocean blue.
Yeah, mine is definitely a silicone/matte feeling. it’s hard to describe, but it feels good. Also glad they released more colors, cause that blue is gorgeous. I have 3 blue cases already, i think I like blue too much :p

Incipio Duo case in today. This is a two piece case like the Otterbox Commuter. Softer silicone liner with a hard outer shell. Case fits the phone great, lays nice and flat on the back, looks fantastic but the buttons SUCK ? Thought I found the perfect case until I tried to buttons. Was going to order the black so I could use the black shell with the volt green liner but think I'll hold off for now. Here are a couple pics:

...great looking case until you touch it as all that nice looking silicone will get smothered in fingerprints!

As much flack as I give the Mous case it's still one of the best looking cases out there

What ya think?

This case looks awesome.

Just got the Pitaka MagEZ Case Pro in and its easily my new favorite case. Very snug fitting, Magsafe compatible, the slanted sides work wonders with gripping the phone without it feeling too large in hand. Such a well built case. View attachment 1712185

Nice looking case although makes your phone look a little Android-ish!

Just bought one of these. Looks very promising, especially with the machined aluminum buttons!!

First impressions of the new Speck Candyshell Pro (Black).

1. Great tactile buttons
2. Size is about the same as the current Otterbox Symmetry
3. Basically the diet Presidio2 Pro
4. Soft-touch finish shows fingerprints easily, similar to the Cyrill Color Brick
5. Good front lip protection
6. Asymmetrical bottom cutouts
7. No sagging near ports
8. Speck branding is very minimal.

Did you have any issues with the phone coming out of the case on either of the corners when removing it from your pockets (similar to the Apple leather case)?

Catalyst Influence Case in today. Blaine made me do it  Fantastic case with excellent grip, buttons and the overall built quality is top notch. This case has a frosted back to keep the KFC fingerprints at bay. I purchased the extra orange and yellow buttons (case comes with black installed). The little rotating mute switch knob is ingenious.
The channeling of the speakers to the front seems pretty good and loud. I really like this case and it's a keeper.

Does the case feel big? How thick are the sides?

The Onyx is a real thin case like the Caudabe Sheath, the Cyrill would be a better all around case with more protection.
Get both, they are pretty cheap.
which one would you choose Cyrill, catalyst, or Ringke? and does the catalyst works well with magsafe accessories?

The Catalyst is a bird of a different feather. I love the case but for everyday use you can't beat the Cyrill (fake) Leather.
It's really a toss up. If you choose the graphite Cyrill case it has the MagSafe magnets built in for $22.99
The Cataylst works with the MagSafe charger but I'm not sure about the wallet as I don't have one.
