Does anyone know how to cover unnecessary case volume slits or massive cutouts on iPhone 12 pro case without damaging iPhone 12 pro? Could I use Debrand skin or vinyl, or tape? Looking at Mous, Pitaka, etc.
You could use a dbrand skin around the sides/back to protect the phone from additional scratches. They won't cover up the slits preventing dust or anything from getting in.

I’m not quite on your level, but I know that feel, bro.

Not pictured...the navy Sheath that’s on my phone, the royal blue Bellroy that’s in another drawer, and the gray Sheath that’s arriving today.

For the record, I now own 5 colors in the Sheath. Everything but the green.

It’s like a guess the case by it’s bottom game lol

I got the black one at the same time as this one (and ended up keeping this one), and to me they both felt the same. The "grips" are the rubbery grips like the old style cases, but I actually prefer this new style. But yeah, the back is soft touch.

Oh man my S6 Samsung was a time when I tried differing brands of case and got this speck case. Sadly the ridges were rubbery and would catch on my zip on my coat pocket. The ridges started to peel off and it looked terrible. I got a refund and never looked at one for the following phones again. I must say though that colour looks lovely!

That's exactly why I like the new design better. Lots of people complain because it's not that really grippy silicone now, but my experience was the same as yours. Hard to get into and out of pockets, silicone started to break down after a while.

I think Speck said enough and decided to rework these cases and for me, I like the new design a lot more.

Yes, just stick your fingernail under the edge and they come right out. They are soft silicone and easy to remove and lose.
Got it, thanks. Hopefully it works with my Catalyst Influence which has a tiny cutout for the lightening port since it covers the speakers, and lacks the typical asymmetrical cuts.

The rounded ones work with the Catalyst Influence but I remember using a wood toothpick to remove the port plug as the opening is so tight. Thought I had a better picture showing the plug but I don't.

Glad I wasn’t alone! So it’s a grippy hard plastic now for the grips/ridges?
