I got the plum silicone case on purchase of the iPhone 12, I love the look but I just can’t stand how it feels when I hold it. Anyone else have this or am I alone??
I had the plum and returned it. Bought deep navy and Cyprus green and they feel absolutely great. So I wonder if it’s a plum defect.

I also traded in my plum for the deep navy but it was more about looks than feel for me. That deep navy is probably the best looking silicone case I've seen.

Those bottom cutouts are massive. Are they bigger than the Mous limitless 4.0 one? There's even cutouts for the lanyard rather than being built into the case(Moment, Catalyst). Are they deep at least?
Those cutouts ? are what keeps me from buying Nomad cases for the iPhone 12PM.

The Nomad rugged case.

It’s actually very nice to hold and fairly pleasing on the eyes. I was not too sure looking at pics on the site and around here but the fact there is not leather all round it’s actually working well. I was wondering what the built quality would be like and it’s impressive.

Wow and I thought I was bad!

For my note 9 over the course of 2 years I had 7 cases!

I’m on to case number 5 already. 2 are donated so I’ve bought only the 3!

In all fairness my original 3 each had a purpose. 1 rugged and tough for outdoor stuff, 1 slim and fairly low profile for indoors and odd trips out at weekends and lastly my smartish which had a card slot for my work ID card for in the office and around the sites.

Last two are a bit of both rugged and slim.

How are the buttons and bottom cutouts?

Those could be the largest bottom cutouts I've seen so far on the 12 series. I'm not sure it's just a reflection in the pic, but those look like lanyard cutouts and not built-in lanyard holes.

lol It is pretty ridiculous isn't it, I’ve even got matching colour Apple Watch straps for each the apple leather cases and wallets.

Not sure about that, it is a rugged more protective case not a office case like the apple leather, i don't stare at the cutouts and go wow they are big lol, probs better for sound anyway.

edit. Looking at them i prefer how both sides look the same and are bigger on the Nomad v the small cutouts on apples that almost cover the speaker holes.

Interesting, so you prefer the symmetrical cutouts? Are the cutouts deep at least to prevent dust and lint in the pocket? Also, the main quirk for most is the buttons. Do you find any issues with that?

Just received the Caudabe Synthesis in stealth black and grey for my iPhone 12 Pro in Graphite. Definitely dig the fit and feel of these cases. Buttons are great and ya get the semi-transparent back w/o fingerprinting. I think the Grey Synthesis on the 12 Pro will be my daily driver for awhile.

I see that as a advantage v apples leather, wet hands don't matter, drops or bumps won't chip it, they feel even better after a month use, my Mrs has a near 2 year old folio man that thing feels nice and not a mark on the sides.

Don't care they look the same and don't look at the bottom all day lol, the front and back look are more important to me. Lint/dust not a problem what ever case you have you should take off weekly and give a clean, i did the razor blade trick on mine, i did it on the sheath too, both are not as good as apples buttons.

This just arrived will probably determine the winner.

Have my stealth black as well. Excellent case. If they could combine the grip of the sheath with this case, I’d never need another case

Changing subject slightly (sorry!) but what is the razor blade trick?
