Which color? I recently got a gray Sheath and it bulges out a bit on both sides near the buttons. There seems to be some variation on fit with these - many ppl report a perfect fit, but others have some issues.

Everything I’ve ordered with the post office has been like that lately. Struggling for real.
Yep, I think some shipments are being delayed for odd reasons. My black Nomad for the mini has been delayed since 02/23 with no sign of getting to me anytime soon.

Yep, the case is mighty slippery, symmetrical cutoutsand makes the 12PM wide as a semi truck. The tight fit and perfect buttons with changeable colors are things I like. The case is a tank and I feel very safe with my phone inside of it.

I think if I had the Pro I’d try them. I like the idea of the bumper. But with the Max it’s just too wide for me, and I have big hands.
I sent Nomad an email a couple of days ago asking if they could intervene. I know it’s out of their hands as well, but maybe they can contact FedEx to see what the hold up is. No response yet.
Are there slits between the volume buttons? Does debris get in that way as well?
The volume buttons are pretty well sealed up. The debris I'm seeing is in the back all around the Apple logo and MagSafe magnets. My guess is it's getting in through the camera opening.

Well I’m in the office soon and I got the Smartish wallet slayer v2 before Christmas so I can hold my work ID and I don’t think I’ve posted it here.
I’m happy with it but it doesn’t wow me. It simply does a good job. It’s easily to hold, good grip and fits very well.
The colour is a nice blue though, I’ll give them that. It is one of my top cases but my recent additions have meant this has taken the back seat.
I’ll certainly keep this for what it’s intended, for work in the office- not at home. I think the WFH situation hasn’t helped this case remain a top pick.

I originally bought the ocean blue sheath and it fit perfectly without issue. I later ordered the gray and it had the slightly bulging, mushy feeling sides. I emailed Caudabe and the sent out a replacement for the gray one today - since it's coming USPS I should have it anywhere between the end of this week and the end of March, but we'll see if it has the same issue, or if it has a perfect fit like the ocean blue I've got.

I just got the gray and navy Synthesis today that I ordered via Amazon. So far, I really like it. I agree that I prefer the feel of it to the sheath. Fit is great and I don't think it adds a noticeable amount of bulk over the Sheath or any of the other cases I have.
Looks to be a winner that will make it into the rotation and may replace the sheath.

File a claim on their site. It will start to move the next day. I had the same problem.
