I’ll go naked with iPhone 12 Pro Max,hate all these cheap caess completely ruining and covering the beauty of the phone.
specially the Apple silicone case that I used to have for my Xs Max,feels cheap because it’s just rubber, yet priced incredibly expensive..why people still buy that crap at such rip off price is beyond me,I don’t complain about leather one,but plastic? ???
So why come into this thread? What do you get out of criticizing everybody’s choice to use a case?

I happen to think the silicone cases look and feel great.

Magenta sheath is finally in for the mini. Pretty cool case. I didn’t think I’d like it.

Oh wow. I’m not one for those colours normally but that case is

What colour iPhone do you have? Are you able to take a pic with the case on the phone?

The buttons are good, not SlipperySuit good, but good.

That's cool. I am still torn on what case to get next. Have not bought any in awhile after the Ringke Onyx. Still looking for a decent "tough" case. Today I put back on the UAG Civ. I still have the Otterbox Anue and it's ok but I don't love it. Not sure whether to try another OB or something different.

EDIT: Has anyone tried or seen this one?

EDIT 2:

WTF is this?

I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the tech 21 smoked black case. Been nice to use.

Here are some of the first I’ve got

Element Case - Special Ops : +protective, - Bulky

Carbon Fiber (Ali Express) : 22$ alternative to later case: better protection since it covers all of the rear and sides, super slim, cons: it is a pain to remove and there’s a hole in the flash and LIDAR sensor (all carbon fibers that cover the camera module suffer from this) - my favorite case so far

and 3rd one is a slim case I forgot the name from spigen (nothing wrong with this one) is cheap and protective just a bit bland but sober I guess,

waiting for a Nomad Rugged and this Herschel case to be delivered, I’ll update you!

curious, was the Carbon Fiber (Ali Express) you have there difficult to put on? Do you think it would damage a DBrand

4ef295fb71cd45a21cc8df0eb33f2b14.jpg

I bought this one on AliExpress. Very impressed with the feel of it. The back feels like a soft cloth/suede. The one drawback is that the front lip is small. So I ended up putting on a screen protector. This makes case number 4 that I have. I have another case coming in the mail. I enjoy switching out the case based on my mood. I do prefer this one over the Clear Caseology.

Very nice find ... can you linko please? Thanks.

My case collection for PB 12 Pro

Could you let me know and provide link for the black and blue carbon/aramid cases you have featured there please?

I order the Pitaka aramid (carbon look and feel) case back in November 2020, arrived 2021. Got my iPhone 12 Mini in blue Thursday night and slapped on my DBrand Icons (blacked out) decal and came through perfectly. That lasted for 15mins - no pick and unfortunately after 20mins of trying, gentle at first and then just plain determination to get the Pitaka on ... damaged both the decal as well as the case. Lesson learned - never order your cases too far in advance before purchasing your iPhone.

I did sent them an email as I’m considering purchasing again, since I’m passed my 2mth upon receiving warranty for the Pitaka case - but wanted to know if their build is now a better fit - was too tight and non-flexible even just a bit to get the lip over the iPhone 12 mini.

So looking for a new case :( Love my 12 mini thought absolutely LOVE this ~ most favourite iPhone ever.

Is that this case here? How are the buttons? Tight fit etc? Thanks

Yes that’s it. I’ve it for my standard 12. Fit is spot on, not too tight that it is near impossible to take off my not falling off either.

The buttons are actually decent and very easy to press, the power button isn’t too easy to press accidentally but volume ones are easier.

I currently have the Tech21 Evo Botanical case from Apple. I like it. It adds some pop with the flowers, buttons are very responsive, great lip protection, and not as slippery as I thought it would be. I wanted something clear for now to show off the blue color. I'd love to go caseless but I know for me that isn't realistic. I don't have a MagSafe charger to use with it yet, but I don't imagine it sticking perfectly- probably would slide around.

I really want to get something Magsafe friendly for the future though, and something more simple for when I'm back to work... I'm between:
  • Nomad natural color - seems a safe choice but I know some have said the buttons suck and the leather scratches a lot. I've never had a leather case so not sure if it's right for me...
  • Apple leather - but it seems to not be aging well this year.
  • Apple silicone - but I can't pick a color, and have never used silicone before! Leaning towards white but don't want it to get dirty.

If you love grippy and slim cases, definitely the silicone. I have both the deep navy and Cyprus green and the rest of my case collection is collecting dust. It is a mix between grippy, slim and durable.

Has anyone successfully exchanged an Apple clear case for a new one because of the stress fractures at the bottom?
I’ve heard that Apple regularly replaces silicone cases that have started peeling of breaking at the bottom corners.

So I can say that the dbrand has been my end case. I still have my Ringke Onyx and my Phone Rebel Crystal, but I haven’t had the desire to switch. The Grip got me. I got the skin on decently too, although it seems sometimes the lint in my pocket likes to stick to the edges of the skin sometimes. The only thing I wonder is how to clean the case. Since it technically has these tiny dots which gives it the grip, how do you clean whatever gets into those dots?

That’s a sign that you shouldn’t be covering up that sexy ass blue color with a skin 🤦‍♂️

Doesn’t the hard plastic clear apple case scratch the frame of the phone?

I hope not! Bought the apple clear case today and so far I’m liking it!
Photos below show it against the Powersupport Air Jacket.

Apple clear case is thicker and feels more solid than the air jacket. The air jacket is slimmer and has all around protection but no MagSafe compatibility.

Buttons on the apple clear case are stiffer and much harder to press than the leather case. Do they get looser with time?

Will try the apple one for two weeks and see if it’s a keeper.

Got to admit shows off that blue color nicely 👌

Only concern is scratching to the frame over time from putting the case on and taking the case off. 🤔

Looking good! Would you mind sharing the wallpaper shown on the left by chance?

As for me, checked out the Tech21 case but did not care for it. The hunt continues.

@Hooterville you said you loved the OB Symmetry. Did something change?
