I got the Apple leather MagSafe case in black for my 12 Pro graphite. Ordered on Amazon, and the first one I received was the correct box, but had a silicone case inside (???). So I had them send another and the 2nd one was actually the leather. So since I got to use both, I want to say I vastly prefer the look and feel of the leather case to the silicone one.

A little OT, but I see this happen all the time. Jerks buy a silicone case and a leather case, keep the leather and return the silicone in the leather box to get more money back. I once ordered a "new" leather case from Amazon for my iPhone XS and received an iPhone 7/8 silicone case in the XS leather box. People suck and Amazon sucks for not checking their returned items before selling them as new again (shady).

For this reason, unless there is a deep discount, I now order Apple-branded accessories directly from Apple.

I definitely only by directly from Apple when it's a device, but not normally for accessories (unless I'm ordering them at the same time as the device). But I guess since this accessory has a few options, it would have been wiser to buy direct. Amazing that people would do what you described just to save a measly $10

I’ve noticed my T-Mobile branded 12 is buggy compared to my mini purchased directly from Apple which I find strange. From screen hang ups to muted speakers; my mini out performs my 12. Maybe with iOS 14.5 a majority of those small bugs will have been fixed on my regular 12. In the future, I’m definitely only buying my devices through Apple.

Here is the Capri Blue on a white 12 Pro. It comes with a pre-defined magsafe ring to save the trouble of waiting for the "burn in" to appear? :p

Another edit to add a photo of the case with the Arizona wallet.
Interestingly enough, (and I’ve had about 5 Apple silicone cases), the Capri blue is the first I’ve had that doesn’t pop off the phone on the edges! Looks like they finally fixed that?

The Capri blue is so gorgeous. I missed my Surf Blue case for the 11, so I'm glad to see a bold blue return to the 12.

Do the Apple silicone cases get less slippery after a while? Also it’s amazing how much lint the case picks up.

Yes, they do wear down and develop a pretty great grip. The ones I’ve gotten for the 12 have been pretty grippy right out of the box. As far as lint - it’s not too bad anymore. At this rate, since I’ve tried so many slippery cases I’d take lint over a bar of soap 😂

The lighter colors don’t show lint, even when they are brand new. The darker colors show lint only for a little while, then the surface smooths itself out after a few days of handling. One thing I don’t like about the darker colors is smudges. They get pretty grimy looking very quickly. My Navy Blue 12 silicone case is already permanently smudged.

I recently got a 12 Pro Max (crazy trade in deal for my 11 from Verizon) and went with a plum Apple silicone case. I have usually had leather but decided to try silicone due to being impervious to water. Setting the leather cased phone down on a wet countertop or such was not ideal. I am pleased so far with the silicone - not too "sticky" at all to interfere with pocket carry and not nearly as bad a lint collector as I feared from some of the comments. The buttons are fantastic feeling and just as easy to use as a naked iPhone.

Also using Spigen glass screen and camera lens protectors 👍👍
