Yes and it was garbage. Completely TPU except for the leather so it was completely flexible and didn't feel premium for the price. Top and bottom lips didn't match the phone. They were both flimsy and saggy at the same time. It was reboxed for Amazon in under 30 seconds.

UAG kills me with their tpu. It barely is firm enough to the phone. I dont understand how they do that year after year

Hey, @edfoo how did you get your phone to display your name like that?
After years of exclusively using the saddle leather case, I switched to the clear MagSafe case. I wasn't sure what I'd think of the visible MagSafe magnets, but I kind of like it. No regrets so far. 10/10
It took me a looooong minute to adjust the this case's slipperiness but all in all it's grown on me. When I tried my aftermarket Meifigno cases I was shocked at how much I didn't like my old favorite case anymore. I've got to return at least 2 of the 3 I bought and hang onto one.

All you have to do to put your name on the lock screen is create your own wallpaper. iPhones don't allow you to leave a lock screen message like Macs do, but this is a common workaround.

EDIT
I suggest putting an email or a friend's number where anyone who finds your phone can reach you.

Anyone get the black or solid colored Otterbox Symmetry yet?
I have a symmetry on my current phone, and a don't think I'll get one again unless they change the design. There's a groove along the outside edge that is constantly collecting crud which I have the clean out with a toothpick.

I would give it a rating of good enough if you buy it at a discount. Verizon for example has had 25% off or ATT 30% off if you buy 3 items.

Buttons are still good. Fit of the case is really good. OK grip, not slippery but not super grippy. Still fairly thin for the protection.

Short reviews of the cases I have tried.

Speck Presidio 2 Grip: Great fit, fantastic buttons, very protective….Not as grippy as previous model, fingerprinting on back.

Speck Presidio 2: Great fit, fantastic buttons, very protective…. fingerprinting on back.

Speck Presidio Perfect Mist: Good fit….terrible buttons

Rhinoshield Solid Suit: Good fit, good buttons, protective….Decent grip but still feels really wide.

Rhinoshield NX: Good fit, good buttons, protective….Decent grip but still feels even wider than the solid suit.

Pelican Protector: Good fit, decent buttons, slim….Not super protective, lips are a little thin

UAG Metropolis LT: Decent buttons…. Sloppy fit, thin lips that didn’t align with phone, felt cheap for the price

Catalyst Vibe: Good Grip…..Bad buttons, felt cheap

Catalyst Influence: Good buttons, Good fit…..low grip, feels really wide and hard to use with one hand

Evutec Ballistic Nylon: Good buttons, good grip, low price….Not super protective, OK fit and finish

Otterbox Symmetry: Good buttons, OK grip, good fit and finish…. Wish it had a little more grip

Otterbox Aneu: OK buttons, good grip….poor fit and finish, price$$$

Hello! Does anyone have a recommendation for a high quality 360 case for the iPhone 12? My fiancé bought one today and her to-go case in the past has been the Lifeproof Fre - but they don‘t have a case for the 12 out yet. Thank you! :)

I’d go with the Otterbox defender if complete protection is your #1 priority.

This is just my opinion, but it feels cheap. Similar to plastic or PU leather. It doesn’t smell like leather either. When I opened my Nomad case the leather scent punched me in the face. Also, the corners of the phone were popping out of the case. I think apple made the leather thinner this year and are relying on the magnets holding the case on the phone. It’s a toss up though, because only a few of us are experiencing the phone popping out of the case.
