Dbrand grip with with teardown skin.

Fits really well. Very low lip on the sides with a better lip at the top and bottom. Easy swipe version.

Buttons are very tactile.

Grip is almost too much as others have stated. I am sure it will pick up lint at least until the grip/static wears a bit. Feels like a fuzzy caterpillar if you rub the sides but not so much just holding it.

I found a 20% off code from a youtuber that has since expired but they may do a Black Friday deal.

Ordered Thursday and deliver today.

I always get the Otterbox Defender but I am considering the grip case this time as I am going to go with the bigger Pro Max and was looking for a grippy case that is a little slimmer. Do you feel like it’s very protective?

I would say that it’s better than an Apple case but less than an Otterbox Symmetry.

I would also think the protection is better than a Caudabe Sheath.

I think the idea is to be grippy and not drop the phone.

The best compromise for size/grip/protection used to be the Speck Presidio Grip. They changed the sides of the Presidio 2 Grip and they are no longer grippy. They did just add some new colors on their website that might actually have the old sides. I have one of those on order now.

Got my Caudabe Lucid Clear. It is so thin and very clear! Has also a lip if you want to set your phone face down. My iPhone has a screen protector too.

I have the Otterbox Defender for my Pro Max and I am happy with it.

Thank you, I may just stick with the old reliable Defender. Some have said this years version is slimmer

I have a question that is case-related, and I didn't want to waste space by starting a new thread. I'm thinking about ordering the 12 Pro Max today. I currently have the XS Max. The silver version of that generation had an issue with the sides scratching easily. Is that something I should be worried about with this current generation? I think all of the colors look good this year, so I'm going to get whatever color is available in stock, unless there are certain colors I should stay away from. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
In terms of cases, I'm considering the Apple leather (although the issues with the phone popping out of the corner is concerning).

Did you test the Defender Pro with any Qi or MagSafe wireless charger? I bought the same case at Walmart for $20 and love it but heard it may not work with wireless chargers.

I had a Defender Pro on my XS Max and loves it. Worked with a QI charger that was built into the nightstand at a hotel.

I don't plan to use the MagSafe, but from what I have read, it might not work with the Defender. I prefer the extra protection instead of a sleek, minimalist case even though I have AppleCare for the iPhone.

For me i'd be picking the phone to match what colour cases i like/use, so graphite/black.

The Defender will work with Q1 but not MagSafe

for some reason the buttons on this year’s symmetry are on the stiff side. the sides of the Aneu feel more sticky grip compared to the symmetry, since the whole side is rubber. and it doesn’t feel heavy at all, i do feel it is a bit overpriced.

Those both look like they rock on their back from camera bump surrounds?

I have the orange Pathfinder and the leather Monarch on the way Friday.
Have always loved UAG cases.
Want to try that orange Outback case also.
I was looking at the UAG Plasma ice, and the Civilian. Any experience with either of those? Supposedly the plasma is lightweight.

If anyone is on the lookout for a nice thin tpu case then I suggest the Tech21 Evo Slim.

Pros:
- thin yet protective
- firm fit
- ample lip
- perfect cutouts
- no fingerprints
- textured sides for grip

Cons
- none IMO

This case looks pretty nice. Might have to check it out.
