Oh ok, thanks for the reply
I did use one with my 12PM and did not have any scratches, dings, dents or damage on the sides after prolonged use.

This was always a worry of mine with the Defender cases as the edges of the phone rub against the hard plastic interior shell. Especially the bottom edge where the port openings are, sharp and scratchy areas there.

That is one reason why I shy away from Otterbox. Personally I think the quality has gone south as well.

I noticed a scuff on my Gripmunk pretty much since day 1. I thought I’d bumped it on something and never thought anything of it until I looked at my MagSafe Duo today. Not a big deal, but kind of unfortunate. As soon as Rhinoshield puts out a MagSafe case, I’ll be buying one in addition to their Apple Watch case.
Smartish offered to send me a replacement case, so I chose the clear version. I don’t really care for clear cases, but I haven’t used one since my old Moto X in 2014, so I figured I’d give it a shot. It’s a bit more grippy on the sides, and the buttons are more clicky than on the purple one, but I don’t like the clear glossy back.

Smartish’s customer service was great though, so I’ll give them credit for that.

Well that didn’t last long. I decided to take the Mous off and try the Carved today. 5 minutes later the back side popped off. Very disappointing.

@Hooterville Finally got around to applying the Whitestone camera protectors. I like it! Also finally put on one of those iCarez screen protectors. Not bad either.

Next up, new case.

Getting along well with the Spigen Tough Armour and EZ Fit screen protector. I keep forgetting there’s a screen protector on the phone as it feels like the actual glass.

Wish I would have known they had the full sensor protection version. My GSP has a notch. ?

I really rate the installation process - dead easy. Very impressed. I was tempted to try ESR as I’ve heard good things about their screen protectors but I went with Spigen as the EZ Fit installation looked foolproof.

Been looking at this one for a few weeks on Amazon, finally caved after reading a lot of darn good reviews. This is the leather color I wanted, Apple came out with that lighter brown color for the 13s (which I wasn't a fan).

I've had this for 24hrs now, so far I am impressed! After opening the black sealed bag, the leather smell...wow! Quality fees far better than Apple leather, this is very similar to Bullstrap, just not as pricy at $39.99. The little "W" (Wilken) brand at the bottom doesn't bug me.

It does have MagSafe - a pretty decent strong magnet I think - which came as a surprise (photos on Amazon didnt show that), although I don't use it anymore...but use a magnetic car holder so this is perfect. Curious to see how this patinas in the next few months.
