Benks Kevlar Case. the case is smooth but not slippery in my case. it isn't too grippy but enough to secure one hand operation.
it a bit wider than the Sheath but thinner. Whilst the Sheath is a bit thicker and has less width. The weight was the difference for me. the in hand feel is very nice. There is a tiny bit sharpness on the corner but this I guess is still to make you feel the actual form of the phone which I like. The sheath has a rounded corner compared to Benks. It is easier to reach the corner of the phone on the Sheath since it has less width while on the benks the thinness of the case compensates it's slightly wider sides. overall o really like it. it's a great balance between grip and smoothness. my hands moists most of the time. I hope with the cases I have, this will be my end be all😂

for now, I prefer this over my: sheath, mous clarity, speck grip 2 and my other 2 bodyguardz case. might begin to dispose these.

Would you mind posting a picture of this case showing the front on the phone?

The Midnight Leather case is interesting to talk about. It’s definitely a shade of deep dark navy and looks surprisingly decent with Sierra Blue - here it is in the late afternoon sun, the blue is really popping out. There is a black car above for comparison. In other lighting settings it can look closer to black. Midnight is definitely closer to the Black it replaced than Golden Brown is to Saddle Brown, but I thought it would be nice to share a colour of this case in daylight. I mean - who doesn’t like a clear night sky, which I think is what this colour is modelled off?

I hope they keep Midnight for future leather cases, it feels a bit like you get two colours in one - the old Midnight Blue and then Black

I also love the midnight color tbh. I really like the dark cherry leather too.

As do Bullstrap and Andar. I’d say the best option for a closed bottom leather case would be the Nomad Modern Leather. It’s been my daily driver for a while now.
Hows the feel of the Nomad case?I tried it about 2 years ago and found the texture very hard and not nice to hold in the hand at all...

The feel is nicer now imo. But the case still adds a tad more bulk than the traditional apple leather case.

Nice case, can you confirm if the sides have any weak spots ? For example the grip 2 is nice and tight all around the case even near the buttons , how does this compare ? Also how bad are the finger prints say compared to the grip 2 ? I’m hoping to find my end all before the 14 comes out lol
Thank you

My iPhone 8 was just replaced with an iPhone 13.

The case I used previously was the LifeProof FRE and I used a NiteIze magnet on the back to mount in my truck and other handy places - the BBQ for a timer, etc.

The case I just ordered for the 13 is the Carved Traveler with MagSafe magnet and tempered glass screen protector. I wanted something different from the LifeProof and OtterBox style cases, though they have served me well in the past.

LOTS of choices out there!

the sides are have a very tight fit and does loose a bit on the buttons but not a bothersome. I'd say they are on par with my grip 2 in terms of fit. The fingerprint smudges at the bacl aren't that bad. I just leave it and it disappears. This is a thinner case compared to grip 2

Consequently, I acquired the Incipio Grip Series case. It has what I need in a case. Decent surface finish and terrific side design. I am confident that it will not slip when I have it in hand.
Update: After several weeks of use I abandoned the Incipio and returned to the Sheath. The Incipio case started to make a creaking noise that eminated from midway down the right side.
