are there any leather cases for the iPhone 13 Pro Max that feel like they can last 5, 10 or even 20 years?

Would imagine Nomad would be the front runner in that regard. I had the brown leather one on my 7 Plus for years and it looks great still. Speaking of which, I just pulled the trigger on the black one for my 13 PM after seeing that Walmart Canada sells them (online) with free shipping.

Originally decided against Nomad since shipping to Canada is $20+. Guess my Blue Jay silicon is most likely going back to Apple. I just don’t trust Apple’s cases for drop protection (I’m studying to work in Aircraft Maintenance), and after a few days of using the Blue Jay case, I find it attracts too much unwanted attention when I’m commuting by transit, and I also feel kinda silly rocking this colour at my age.

Looking forward to receiving the Nomad case. Would’ve been indecisive between the black and brown, but the black being the only one in stock via Walmart CA made the decision for me.

I’d say the rustic brown would compliment the lighter color of the SB better than a lighter leather.

Yes, I think so. And the longer I have the Pitaka New MagEZ Case Pro on my 13 Pro Max, the more I like it. Such a great feeling case, and so slim.

Look at otterbox cases, heard they’re pretty good at protecting phones.

My Otterbox Defenders have held up VERY well to my kids chucking them across the room and dropping them on a regular basis. A couple times we’ve used the warranty to replace the Defender as it cracked right by one of the “clip” spots but our phones have been in perfect condition.

Now that the kids are older I’m trying the Otterbox Aneu as I expect they won’t throw them anymore (youngest is 8).

Along with the Benks clear case and Benks Aramid fiber case which is shipping to me later this month I also have the dBrand grip case on preorder. And I may even preorder the new clear and aramid fiber cases from Phone Rebel once they become available this month... but I'm really trying to get the willpower to avoid doing that. But they look so nice 😫.

For the iPhone 12 Pro Max I had 24 cases. This year I got the iPhone 13 Pro Max and so far I’ve only got 2 cases. The one thing I’m not doing this year is buying that many cases because now I have 24 cases I have to get rid of which cost an excess of $740. I hope I can control myself this time.

Besides the weight of the phone, this is also what’s stopping me from upgrading. I bought so many cases for my 12P, some aI haven’t even used yet, and I told myself I wouldn’t go case crazy when I got the 12P.

We really need a support group.

Nope. Mine doesn't feel or look loose at all. Have it in my hand right now.

That’s almost exactly the same issue that they had last year with the 12/Pro. Seems like they tend to have issues right at launch. I’ve had multiple cases from them, and they always do right by customers in my experience.

You're right. They replaced my original Sheath last year when the sides bowed soon after case launch. No questions asked.
