Ugh my Apple silicone case for my 13 Pro Max is already peeling in the corner. I’ve had the stupid thing for less than a month. Same crap durability as the 12 pro max silicone.

I have been through two  silicone cases in a month. Both have chipped around the edges. Haven’t dropped them or anything.

Just picked up a 13 mini this morning at my local Apple store for the hell of it. I started using my old Torro leather sleeve and soon realized why I stopped using it when I had my 12 mini. It’s a hassle when trying to use the phone for basic things such as texting, making calls and google maps.

So, browsing Best Buy I came across the speck presidio MagSafe clear case on sale from $44.95 to $20. I just picked it up. Cool case for the price. The fit is alarmingly snug, but the buttons aren’t bad at all considering the past few times I’ve tried speck’s clear cases and has a nice raised lip. I guess I’ll stick to this case for a while. I was looking at the usual leather options, but may wait a couple of weeks before deciding on a new leather option.
I got the same deal yesterday on the clear case for my 13. The Speck case is a bit bulkier than I’d prefer. It’s also a bit slippery. But for $20 I think I will keep this for when I want a clear case or something a bit more rugged than the Apple leather. I can’t see using this on daily basis, but it’s definitely a decent clear case for those looking for one.

I already got bored with mine. I decided to revisit my childhood “skating” days and add a few stickers. I’m either going to order a Nomad, Andar or a custom Vaja case this week. Or I may just go back to using my Torro leather sleeve.

Love how my iPhone looks in the Ringke fusion matte clear.

I had a clear case with my previous iPhone but I hated it because of finger prints smudges. The frosted back does an amazing job with this case, love it :)

This year I’ve barely purchased any cases for my Sierra Blue iPhone 13 Pro, compared to last year’s haul.

Top favorites:

1. Caudabe Sheath - Black
2. Otterbox Defender XT Pro - Black
My same top 2 for my 13 pro max. Smartish gripmunk close 3rd

I have one and was free, apple midnight. Wouldn't mind the andar but even with 10% code its $90AUD with delivery to here. Won't be buying any of the cases I tried/had last year.

Same here. Only case so far for my 13 mini is the clear speck presidio that I got on sale at Best Buy. And I have my Torro leather sleeve. I’m leaning towards ordering an andar as well.

Surprisingly, I only have one case this year (Spigen Thin Fit). I want to see what sales are offered on Black Friday, though. I can't tell if people are just being smarter with their purchases this year or if a lot of people are still waiting for their phones to arrive, but people don't seem as "adventurous" with their case purchases compared to previous years. There used to be so many random case purchases and suggestions shared in the past.

It's cause all the cases I tried last year still have the same faults this year, $0 down so far.

I currently have the Apple Silicon case and I'm not a fan of how much lint it attracts, as well as how fast it wears out. Does anyone know whether the Apple Leather case is thinner than the Caudabe Sheath? How about compared to the Apple Silicon case?

I did not care for the defender XT at all. Picked up the spigen core armor mag and defender XT at launch and returned the defender. Not only was it the hardest case I have ever seen to put on and take off, but added quite a bit of width to the 13 pro.

Wish the commuter had better MagSafe compatibility, was by far my favorite case for the 11 pm. Only others that are on the table are the cherry leather apple and the pitaka mag pro.

I keep going back to the Thin Fit all the time. Had the Gripmunk, Apple silicon and Spigen clear case.

I think at this point, a lot of people have found a case brand or a case that they like and are sticking with it. For me, I am going with all silicone this year since that’s what I like best. I have two Apple Silicone so far and two knock off silicone cases from amazon that are really good. I’m pretty content with my collection for now and the only other case I’d want to possibly try is the spigen silicone fit, but that’s it.

I decided to give the Midnight Leather Case (and it’s matching wallet) a try, after all we have the extended returns period now and I have to say I’m more than pleasantly surprised.

So Midnight isn’t black. It’s a very very dark blue. It’s obviously created after a clear night sky.

The blue tinge is a lot more noticeable out here in daylight as pictured below but i have to say I think it looks really classy and sleek. Definitely looks decent with Sierra Blue. I love the feel of the leather and how clicks the buttons are.

However, indoors and at night, it appears clearly more black.

I also noticed that the MagSafe Wallet sticks far more securely to a leather case than the Silicone.

I have an AliExpress aluminum bumper on the way to go with my Nomad rustic brown skin. Can't find a case you like? Build your own.
