Felt like a lighter case as it’s summer down here and I have to say that having now seen it in person, the Wisteria leather actually looks really rich and nice, and with Sierra Blue it’s a very whimsical combination. This definitely feels more like a summer colour. You can even use a naked Sierra Blue phone with the Wisteria wallet and it still looks great. Am hoping the Wisteria Case doesn’t age badly, if it does by the end of the returns period (8 Jan 2022) I’m returning it but for now it is ?

Hey all, getting mixed answers from reading and asking around the internet, thinking one of you guys would know for definite.

Do 3rd party “MagSafe compatible” cases charge at the full 15W with the Apple MagSafe charger?

Or do only the Apple cases allow for the full speed charging, and every other case will only charge at 7.5W?

Upstate NY . Was FL.
Just bought a Tech 21 Evo Check for the 13PM.
Not bad , but a little disappointed by the lack of raised edges. Not worth 40$. But Best Buy had them on sale for $20. And that's why I bought it. 🤣

It’s this really lovely rich dark lavender colour - would definitely recommend - if you get it from Apple there’s the extended returns period until January next year if you change your mind

I've been eyeing this case since the 12 Pro Max. How does it compare to the Spigen Thin Fit? Every picture I see of it makes it look really thick.

Thin fit is still my favorite. The tech 21 is completely different material and dimensions. The back is shiny but not too slippery the sides are frosted. The port cut outs are also not as comfortable to the pinky finger but not the worst I’ve encountered by other brands. It ain’t worth $40 that’s for sure. $20 or below is about right, maybe $15? 😂

Still zero sign of the ringke magnetic matte fusion case.

Mind you I’ve normally bought about ten cases by now but they’re all just really uninspired this year.

Just received my Apple Silicone case in Product Red. It’s like retina melting red. So vivid. I actually like it. Might use it for December, kinda like it on my graphite 13 Pro.

Photos?

Interested in seeing the Product Red iPhone 13 in cases.

I’m not sure if someone answer your question, but MagSafe is Apple proprietary. The majority of wireless chargers are based on Qi and are limited to 7.5w for iPhones.

Alternatives to Apple are from Belkin. Belkin; 15w MagSafe products. Hopefully more companies will license MagSafe but at least there are Belkin options to choose from.

Couple new cases from Native Union today. Clic classic(leather) and clic pop(polycarbonate). Do not recommend the clic pop as buttons have no feedback whatsoever and bottom edge sits funny. The clic classic however seems great with clicky buttons.

Circling back to the Laut cases. I just received my Laut Crystal Matter 2.0 with MagSafe (Black) case for my iPhone 13 Pro. Last year, I tried the Crystal Matter 2.0 case, twice, on my iPhone 12 Pro. Materials were great, buttons were made of machined aluminum, but they jiggled if you'd move the phone around. I was very nervous it would be the same story for the iPhone 13 cycle. I can say that the jiggly buttons are resolved. This case is nice. A top 5 contender.

Sorry. Shoulda included that. Looks like they have some sort of Black Friday sale going on too.

I will say if you already have the Smartish Gripzilla, this case is extremely similar. Main difference is the back. Which is a semi transparent material vs a solid color on the Gripzilla, unless you get the totally clear variant.

I got a Surphy silicon case from Amazon today for the 13PM. Very good , as good as the genuine Apple one but cost 16 quid. Only issue is for those that use those one piece camera lens protectors.
The case is thick and sturdy and microfiber lined on the inside.
Be careful with the bottom of that case. It's really flimsy and can collect a lot of junk that will scratch up the phone.

Can anyone recommend a case similar to the Casetify Impact (w/ MagSafe) but without the long and sketchy shipping process?

I have one on the way but at this point I’m thinking it would be faster to cancel my order and get something else. I just can’t find anything that offers similar styling and protection.

$45 is getting up there. Is this TPU or something else?

I have a gripzilla coming today. It was only $17 on Amazon with the Black Friday deals
