Been using the new Dbrand grip for my 13PM. Dropped it for the first time last night from waist height and it cracked my Spigen protector.

Looking at the grip from the side there is no lip at all in the middle. Does anyone remember if last years version was like this? The impact on the protector came from the area where no lip…

Yes, that is part of their design. I never had any issues with it, but am guessing you were unlucky on how it fell/hit. I have debated getting one for my 13 PM, but I use the MagSafe a lot driving and last year the case did not hold the PM at all.

I’ve been driving with this on a MagSafe charger and it hasn’t fell off, doesn’t feel as strong as the Apple Learher but it does a job. Maybe I’m just a slow driver ?

There are certain types of cases that we generally stay away from and it’s the ultra-thin cases from Peel, Bare and Totallee. These ultra thin cases aren’t worth getting as they are significantly overpriced for what they are. Most of them aren’t even branded so it looks like they went to Alibaba and bought as many thin, cheap cases as they could.

I had Apple Clear case for a week. I thought it will by my no. 1 case, but I already returned it. I really like Clear case for iPhone 12 except hardly clickable buttons. That was improved on 13 Pro version and button are very clicky. But case is more slippery and didn't fit as perfect as 12 version. Every time when I put my pohone in my hand I heard weird cracking noises from case. It's now even more easy to put case on and off, so this is sign that case don't fit that great.

It's shame, because I can't wait for it on iPhone 13 Pro.

But there is also other thing - iPhone 13 Pro is much heavier than iPhone 12 and with Apple Clear case it was very heavy. For me almost over limits of applicability.

Now I'm with Peel Super Thin Clear Hard case.

Same boat. Enjoyed my clear case for 12 pro last year aside from buttons. Slightly improved this year but it’s like a wet bar of soap. Had my wife Amazon a spigen ultra hybrid MagSafe version and I am so much happier. Would highly recommend and it’s only $20

I just noticed, that iP13 Pro has weaker magnets than iP12 and with Peel Super Thin is not strong enough.

I know that someone already ask about that, but can you recommend most slim and light iPhone 13 Pro case with MagSafe?

For my observation:

MagEZ 2
Spigen Ultra Hybrid Mag - but it seems not that slim

other?

My native union sling and case arrived today. Been using a clear esr case and the first thing that struck me are there’s not as much lip to the sides, so it feels flatter, so dropping it face down might be a concern.
Other than that the sling “rope” feels nice and thick and all feels up to usual native union quality.

Have you managed to test out the MagSafe magnets at all? I'm finding absolutely no reviews on this thing but I really like the way it looks.

(Case: GRECAZO Ultra-thin Protective Case )

Product Red iPhone 13 finally arrived today!

This is my first non-‘Black’ iPhone & it’s a beauty imo.

The plan to match it with an ultra minimalist, open-sided, black case went very nicely. The blood red aluminium sides & front border of the 13 deserve to remain exposed imo, & this case ‘lets the blood run free’!… ??? ?

So it’s a scratch-protection rather than drop-protection case, with practicality in mind; Front/Rear lay on table design, naked grip (therefore maximum reach across the screen), light weight & wireless charging compatible (yet to test with MagSafe).

Cutouts are spot on & the matt back is fingerprint-resistant & doesn’t stick to the inside of your pocket.

& it’s so cheap! So great value for money for those who don’t drop their phones & are looking for the above features.

Plus, the ? & ⚫️ combo! ?

Edit… Works with MagSafe fyi. As expected since it’s only 1mm thick.
