Received an email from Nomad regarding the pre-order of the Orange case. It has been delayed and now is scheduled to ship December 12.

Just got the same email :( Wonder if it's Dec 12th 2023?

Maybe they need all of our money up front to pay the Hong Kong case factory?

Hmm sounds like between the two Caudabe ones, you like the Sheath more. Is there anything about the Synthesis you don’t like or is a dealbreaker?
I like the side grips on the Synthesis, but the case felt slippery to me if my hand was anywhere else on the case. It’s like a hard plastic type feel. The Sheath has a consistent gritty type feel throughout which I actually prefer.

is the bottom of the phone covered? I remember reading that his cases have an open bottom
The bottom is open on the front part, which is nicer for swiping. I don’t really understand people’s issue with that. Is it a looks preference?

I find it hard to imagine that the corners and lip won’t keep the front opening from impact tbh. Would require falling on a strange non-flat surface to hit that spot and not the case lip or corners.

That case looks good. Are you liking it so far?

So I returned my RL case as if kept popping out, presume just a defect. No problems, these things happened. Returned for refund. Now for some bizarre reason they cancel any new order I place.

The problem is that if the phone drops, it is likely to get scratched. I had a case that was open at the bottom and scratched the speaker part of the phone after dropping it. It is almost impossible not to drop your phone these days, so a case that protects the phone is very important!

I bought three cases for my new 14P to provide different looks and levels of protection.

1. Totallee soft clear case: to show off the whole phone, which I do think is one of the better designs Apple has come up with.

2. Speck Presidio Pro2: when I need a little extra protection or expect to be getting a little dirty.

3. Andar Aspen: I wanted a leather case and this one ticks all the boxes for me because I like the black rim around the camera cutout and that the leather wraps around the edges. Just got it yesterday and I really like it!

I think for the most part I will use the Andar during the workweek, the Speck on the weekend, and the Totallee occasionally when I'm in the mood.

Any TPU on any case will yellow over time. The only cases without TPU as far as I know are the Apple clear case and Caudabe Lucid Clear. Unfortunately hard cases are difficult to get phone in and out of and are slippery. I don’t know of any that will meet your needs. Hopefully someone else does. Sorry! The Spigen Ultra Hybrid has a TPU frame.

I really like the open bottom and camera lense wrap around protection of the Bullstrap leather cases, but the price is so hefty. I found a brand that looks identical, and the case is $54 with free shipping. It’s called Cretanbull, and the cases look identical to Bullstrap.

I am going to pre-order, but I can’t decide on which color will look best with gold. Any advice? I’m leaning more towards the lighter one.

I LOVE that logo.
