Was thinking of picking up an OB Symmetry but want to wait to see what the Synthesis is like first. Have not been paying attention to many BF sales. Should I? Lol.

Planned to grab a sheath in the BF sake but still can't bring myself to order one, mostly because they don't have a UK stockist and if I get hit with import then it'll be extremely expensive. And I'm not 100% on the blue.

Got the storm blue silicone case for my space black PM! I’m really liking the color a lot. Planning on rotating between this and my midnight leather

I am really disappointed with Caudabe (and many other companies) delivery times to Australia
Sheath ordered on 13th Sep…4 weeks after “defective” case delivered
Replacement for faulty case dispatched on 19th Oct
22 Nov still waiting
Similar thing happened with Case for 12pro
in the meantime other people here ordered, returned, reordered/ received new cases just because they don’t like them

is it just me or….
I don’t need fancy boxes or small envelopes with advertising ….They are thrown away immediately
Best advertisement for case makers is well executed case and reasonable delivery times worldwide: in my opinion around 15 days …. Saving on boxes and small envelopes can help

What’s your tracking info say? They ship out of Ohio so idk which direction it ships to, east or west so that may be more of a customs issue more than anything. Maybe sending an email to Caudabe support can help. When I returned my sheath I got a response within 1 day for an exchange/return and they were quick to refund and ship out. International transactions sometimes can be time consuming and frustrating as some on here have experienced.

Contacted tracking company …their response (below)… emailed Caudabe - waiting on response ….
problem is standard delivery to Australia around 28 days and for some reason I am getting faulty cases so another 28 days + first Caudabe response, second response (confirming address) and few days to be shipped …total around 2,5 months
….it is to much for me

No import duties. I’ve had several Caudabe deliveries in the last few months and no duty to pay. I’m in UK.

How does the Sheath compare to the Pitaka in terms of size/added bulk?
Not sure about actual size/added bulk … it is completely different feel/texture and I personally (at this point) prefer Pitaka… it feels less bulky and finish is amazing.
(And my previous main case for iPhone 12pro was Sheath)

Thanks, I think I would prefer the Pitaka too but might get the Sheath as well given the current discount.

Couldn’t help myself to order the the black sheath on Black Friday sale. I have the mountain green this year - nice case but that stealthy clean black… can’t beat it.

Also bought the synthesis. The fit is so good, but the back is very prone to marks and scratches- my MagSafe made marks on day 1- It’s kind of annoying…
Others have mentioned, the grip on the sides is better, but at the cost of the back being more slippery. I’ve defaulted back to the sheath- it’s just hard to beat in my opinion. Both great cases, matter of preference.

Team Sheath! Lol

I already have Black and Steel Blue Sheaths and I love them, I don’t feel like I’m missing out on Synthesis. Only thing I ordered from Caudabe from this sale is their AirTag keychain case (TagClip). I have been eyeing it for a while lol

I am waiting for my iPhone 14 Pro Max to arrive, but already planning my cases. My main driver will be a Peak Design case as I already got into their ecosystem. However, I want a more rugged case for when I walk the dog which ideally I can keep on even when at work or when travelling.

I have been thinking:
  1. Nomad Rugged: looks good in terms of overall protection but there is something about its design that I do not like.
  2. Mous Clarity 2.0: I haven't had a clear case since my iPhone 4! Mous seems to promise good protection with this one.
  3. Mous Limitless 5.0: I suppose it is the same as Clarity with an added soft lining.
  4. Decoded Detachable Wallet: Given the detachable leather folio, I assume that it can hold a drop.
I am open to other ideas too. I love UAG, but I have heard bad comments about their MagSafe support. I am very unhappy with Otterbox as their Strada screwed up my S21. I am in Sweden; cases from Rebel, Casetify, and Cuadabe are not viable options due to the shipping and import tax costs.

Any input is appreciated!
