I’m stuck between the Midnight, Forest Green and Ink. All would look great, I have the silicone Midnight already so will probably go for Forest Green or Ink.

Thinking of doing the same. Was between storm blue, elderberry and leather ink. But the storm blue seems to have some gray/slate hue to it which I dig. Haven’t seen in person though.

If the clear case is not up to scratch (pun intended) then I’ll buy the genuine Apple one…and that Elderberry silicone case is looking dangerously like my next purchase 🤓

I wish I liked the silicone cases but the dust and lint drives me nuts.

Gone for the same glass and just ordered the case with an Apple leather case on route (Ink). On the Deep Purple Pro I have ordered, I think the clear case will look nicer maybe.

is there some perverse reason why in a fairly extensive search virtually none of these case makers do the courtesy of telling me how much their cases weigh ?

they love to tell how thin their cases are but never the freakin weight

Just got a shipping confirmation from Caudabe. I really want to like the Apple Leather or bull strap cases but I'm going to wait and see how they turn out. I had a bad experience with the leather case on my 12 and I'm hesitant about the Bullstrap's open bottom.

So I got my Umber in the mail yesterday. It’s brown but def has a red vibe to it. Not 100% sure I love it.

Yes. The camera bump on the 13 PM case is too small to accomodate the 14 PM’s larger bump and furthermore, the positioning of the power/volume buttons has also shifted a bit.

The cases between current and previous iPhone generation are therefore completely incompatible/not interchangeable. Which is a shame because back between iPhone 7 and 8 / iPhone 6 and 6s / iPhone X and Xs, it was very much the case (pun intended) that the cases were in fact interchangeable

Its definitely a brownish red and it looks good, I just hope it patinas well and not like the leather from the 12 series. I think the colors from YouTube reviews were pretty accurate when showing the umber.

Thanks. I’ve initiated a return of the midnight case I purchased. I’ve got the same on my graphite 13PM, so think I’ll try something different. I’ll chance the umber I think, and if I don’t like it I’ll return it and pick something else.

Have the Apple Silicone cases improved since the 12? Mine cracked near the speakers/lock button and silicone started peeling off, but they look so good
