I was initially pretty happy with the buttons on my sheath but swapping between different cases made me aware of how mushy the volume and action button are on it. If the buttons one the v3 are better I'm going to have to bite the bullet and order one.
That’s exactly what happened to me with my Synthesis that I returned. Once I started swapping is when I realized it about the buttons.

Someone posted they had new version for a week and MagSafe daily and nothing. But I would think if it’s going to show a condom ring it would take longer than a week.
One of mine was showing a ring brand new, directly out of the box.

The anker cable and the safuel right angle both fit fine. Even the cable that came with my xreal air glasses fits fine and it’s a big one lol. Ankers probably the biggest that’ll go in.

With that said, I’ve had the technically red andar on all weekend and love it. Haven’t had the desire to switch back to the phonerebel. @Hooterville yiu wanna buy my bandwerk case? lol it’s too wide for me

Got my Rebel Frosted for my 15 PM that was supposed to be delivered yesterday (at least Amazon delivered it today and not tomorrow).

This is my first experience with a Rebel case and I have to say, all the praise it gets here is warranted. After initially thinking I was going to need to grab a crowbar from my garage to get the phone into it, I finally got it installed. You all weren’t kidding about it being tight!

Since grip is objective, I’ll say for me the grip is great. Just right. Not too harsh but still feels secure. I was really surprised by how well it passes the pinkie test. I’d seen people here say it did, but wasn’t sure it would for me because I’m particularly picky when it comes to that.

My favorite case ever for any phone was by a company that’s still around, but stopped making this particular case a few years ago. It was SaharaCase and they had this case for the OG Moto X (and other Android handsets like the Nexus 6) that this Rebel Frosted reminds me of. Black bumper with a frosted back plate that was so comfortable to hold and looked great.

I’m really impressed with this case, for sure.

I loved this case so much I returned it because the grip wasn’t good for me. I’m actually thinking about re-ordering and give it a better chance because the Frosty is the king of clear / frosted hybrid cases hands down IMO. Besides the grip, to me it’s the perfect case.

I have to say ordering direct thru Pitaka is slow boat from china. They only offered the free shipping, no upgraded shipping options. Still hasn’t transferred over to USPS and it’s been like 8-9 days. Shipping was suppose to be “3-9” days or something along those lines.

I’ll be lucky to get it before Christmas, if not the holiday should slow it down real nice!

Is the frosted Phone Rebel particularly hard to remove from the phone? I'd like to try one but as a frequent switcher if a case is too hard to remove, like the Synthesis, it's a no go for me.

As a Synthesis user, the Frosted is harder to remove. It’s not to the point where I feel like I’m going to damage my phone or the case, but it’s even more snug than the Synthesis.

Yeah, mine languished at the Hong Kong airport for over a week, and a long time at LAX before it finally made it to the USPS. They did offer me a discount for the delay, and it is my favorite case so it was worth the wait.

Magez or pro?

After TT saying that the buttons on the Sheath improve over time, I pressed them repeatedly for a couple of minutes with the phone off and they are now very responsive. Clicks and all….
