Frosty losing it's interior frost :( I noticed this dark spot on my Frosty and after removing the case it looks like the interior finish is scarred for life. Not the end of the world but now I keep looking for this spot :(

Anyone else with any Frost problems on the Frosty?

After I got mine today, one of the first things I worried about was scarring the inner frosting while putting the phone in. For people like us that change cases constantly, there’s a much higher chance of that happening.

The tightness of this case when installing and removing it is no joke!

Yes. It’s gotta be from taking your phone in and out. I have a long one along where it says “rebel” on the back. Mine is going to go back, I just haven’t had a chance to deal with it yet.

Looks like mine is on the same extended tour as yours. Oh well, hopefully worth the wait because patience with deliveries is far from my strong suit lol.

Yikes, I was going to order it but this is definitely having me rethink it.

I don’t think this can be helped when you’re constantly swapping cases when you have a frosted or clear back hybrid. Plus it gives it some character.

Caudabe sent out to me an apparently updated blue sheath with better buttons that arrived today.

Can confirm as per Tee’s comparison its the old one… feels exactly the same and mushy. 🙄

I thought only the black and gray were updated.

I contacted Caudabe about the updated versions. I really want to like them based on previous years, but haven’t been able to so far!

They’ve offered to send me a new updated batch case out so will see how it is.
I really hope it’s better

I just ordered the pro non max Sheath in gray. Hopefully it’s the new batch.

You may get yours before me as I’m in the UK so no idea when mine will arrive as mine is for the Max too.
Let’s see! Must say spending a few minutes pressing the buttons for a few minutes has made them clickier, so going to give it a go and see how it goes for a day or so on this model.
 
Nomad sending out free replacement action buttons for their rugged cases. Just got the email and order one up.

No issues with mine and I am a case whore who's always changing cases for various reasons

Try the case against a dark background and see if you have any missing frost?

Will Phone Rebel send me out a replacement ?

It can be helped. While both sides of the back panel are frosted, they should do it like the SaharaCase I mentioned above and put most of the frosting on the outside. It’s already got feet to stop the back panel from touching when the phone is laid down, so frosting the outside as much as the inside would be fine.
