Just means the frost is coming off.
My Frosty lost frost on the inside corners after installing and removing the case a few times.
Have a replacement Frosty on the way now.

Last years Frosty for the 14PM did not have these problems.
Oh ok so did you have to contact Phone Rebel for a replacement? Or you just bought a new one?

Both, Phone Rebel will send you a shipping label to send the case back and they will ship you out a replacement once they receive the old one back. Too much of a hassle so I just ordered another one from Amazon and will return the defective one.

Oh ok. When is your replacement arriving? I checked on amazon and it looks like delivery dates even with prime is like January 15th. I am in Canada but also checked the US amazon site and it shows the same thing.

How's the outside frost holding up? Only the inside is melting?
I believe everyone's inside frost will melt sooner or later o_O
The scuff in the MagSafe area is on the outside, and there are a lot of micro scratches. Looking at it now I also see a scuff near the action button that looks like it is on the outside. Other than that though, it’s holding up better than I thought it would. Although I haven’t had it that long, but I will post an update in a couple of weeks on how it is surviving. The camera ring is a bit disappointing but I have replacements coming for that :)

does your case have the default buttons and camera ring? Or did you buy new ones to change out?

It's amazing how Spigen still makes cases so good for the prices they charge on Amazon. For $20 I am quite impressed with this natty titanium frosted Ultra Hybrid. The color is not ideal when they say natty, but it is more a very light sand/dune color. I do not mind that, as it pairs well with a lot of my gear. Not even worth returning, it's a keeper.

This looks like an old man combo that would go well with white dad sneakers

Those with the phone rebel gen 5, can you tell me if my anker and belkin cable I use for CarPlay, will fit? I don’t feel like taking my case off every time I want to charge my phone, or use CarPlay.

I’ll be able to tell tomorrow when I get my frosted. I have the Belkin cable for CarPlay as well

Apparently you can’t use that code with other codes. They have a code for 20 off of the buttons or the free ultra buttons but it doesn’t work with more than one code lol.
You can use “gen5” and “20off” at the same time, sucks the others can’t be combined though.

All the talk on here about the Rebel Frosted made me buy one 🤦🏻‍♂️ I've never ever had a case like this (i.e. transparent/frosted back) and didn't expect to like it, but absolutely loving it so far!! One of the nicest cases I've tried this year for my tastes.

I don't use MagSafe and hate the big rings on the back, so ordered the non MagSafe version. Also ordered several button kits but seem to have settled on the black camera surround to match the edges of the case and the silver buttons.

Pretty tempted to also now try the titanium button kits, but can anyone tell me if they're that much different to the buttons that come as standard with Rebel cases? The standard ones have a 'copper-ish' colour to them, and to me the titanium ones looked similar.

Ok yea that paper thin it looks like.

The best case that I’ve tried that offers some protection, the best feel in the hand, that “melts” in your hand and has the closest form factor to the iPhone is the Apple silicone case. For me hands down the absolute best experience with a case.

I’m confident it would protect my iphone from a chest height drop but the “problem” is most likely will have to buy another case.

It’s a nice case for sure, but also one of the worst lint magnets. They also don’t last as long as some other cases. Could be fair tradeoffs for some. I’m thinking about picking one up, which I usually do every year.

When I was at BB checking them out I said to the rep I heard these aren’t durable and they don’t last. He said Apple has a 1 year warranty and if durability issue happens Apple will easily exchange it.

My wish is that Caudabe could make a case exact specs as the Apple silicone but using same material as the Sheath. The difference in thinness(depth) of the silicone is definitely noticeable for me.

Yup, I’ve had the silicone case replaced a few times over the years. I’d rather have a case that lasts though.

I think if the Sheath was any thinner the C-ring would be even more prominent. The old Sheath prior to MagSafe was much closer to being like the Apple Silicone. My friend has an old one and I‘d forgotten how thin they were.

My third replacement Sheath arrives this week. I have almost zero confidence that the C-ring issue is resolved. We’ll see.

Agreed. I’ve had A Silicone cases over the years and don’t stick with them. Mainly because I can’t get over the weird, silky, sticky feeling and they are lint magnets.

I sent an email request to exchange my Synthesis for Sheath. Based on all the feedback, I should be happier with the Sheath. The c ring shouldn’t be an issue for me. I am not a heavy MagSafe user anyways.
