what cases do you have now/have you already tried? the apple silicon is one that I have kept and I just ordered the magez5 because I would have kept the ez4 if it didnt have a sharp bottom edge; ez5 is supposed to have resolved that.
I really like the Apple silicone. It’s light, it’s grippy for me and melts in your hands. But I still like my Sheath better.

Newly arrived Andar Aspen in Navy on my 15 Pro blue titanium. Also fitted the Torras screen protector, first protector I've had this year.

This is my first leather case in absolutely years. I think all the talk of Apple stopping leather made me actually want one again.

Lovely case, great buttons, fit is very good and tight EXCEPT for the top right corner - that slips off too easily for my liking and is quite possibly going to annoy me a lot. Can anyone recommend any other leather case where the top right corner doesn't pop off easily? I don't like the Bullstrap or Ryan London ones as I don't like the look of the camera surround being leather, prefer how it looks on this.

It's also really slippy - does the grip on leather cases improve with use?

In my experience, corner pop off gets better with time.... The longer the case is on there, it tends to stick more and has never been an issue.

Any yes, grip improves as the case breaks in

Oh that's interesting ref the corner, thank you. Well if that does and it gets a little grippier, this will be on my top 5 cases for sure, because everything else about it is superb.

One thing I did just notice just after taking those pics there's about 5 or 6 small 'dimples' on the back, 2 of which can be seen in this photo and I've circled. Is that normal? Or should I be contacting Andar?

They're raised enough that if I run my finger over them I can feel them, kind of like a little blackhead/spot on your face!

I'd say that's normal for leather - It's all within the grain.

I'd personally like that

Been running the Sheath today. I can’t deny it. The Sheath is the best all around case hands down IMO. Other opinions may vary of course. I’m getting a celestial blue in hopefully Monday.

Caudabe have just agreed to replace my blue Sheath and Synthesis with the revised versions. Sheath's being delivered on Tuesday, Synthesis will be sent "in a few week" when it's ready. If the buttons are good I agree theirs are the best IMO.

That navy looks fantastic with your Blue Ti. Ryan London does have a closed bottom, metal camera ring case now but I’ve read some have had fit issues there as well. Grip will improve as it takes up oils from your hands, mine took about a week with clammy hands. Looks great.

Yea you and I liked the Mag too. I still like it and raved about it until I got the Sheath.

I keep going back to the Rugged. I suppose I mostly prefer protective cases and don’t mind a little bulk. I rocked the OG Defender back in the day, what a beast that was; the Rugged is svelte in comparison. It’s not the most visually striking case, but I do appreciate the simple, utilitarian aesthetic, combined with good drop protection and a surprisingly comfortable feel in the hand.

Yeah I still love it tbh, at the moment I prefer it to the Sheath because of the Sheath's crap buttons, but if the revised one has better buttons it jumps ahead for sure. The fit is so superb.

Anyone using the dbrand grip everyday? Starting to contemplate a purchase
I did for a day - hated it and returned!! The sides (the 'grippy bits') are waaay way to grippy to me - it literally pulled the inside of my jeans pockets out when trying to take it out my pocket.

Not to mention the lint...... 🤦🏻‍♂️

The buttons are way better.

Glad to hear it.

I’m most excited about the Synthesis - I know popular opinion seems to prefer the Sheath, but I actually preferred the Synthesis (ignoring the buttons on both). If the buttons on the Synthesis are good to I can see it being my daily.

I like leather cases but magsafe leaves a mark on it and to me, it kinda destroys the look of the leather..
Yeah, MagSafe can make some unsightly marks on cases. Leather can be bad, FineWoven is worse in my experience. The alternatives seem to be either living with it, avoiding MagSafe by using alternative charging methods, using clear cases with an MS ring, or using cases that have a hard/textured back like the Symmetry, Rugged, Synthesis, et al.

I thought the Synthesis buttons weren’t being updated until mid-January? Did I misunderstand that?
No you're right, the new Synthesis button fix is not available yet. They said mid to late January. I am waiting for the revision before replacing both my Sheath and Synthesis.

Maybe MagSafe isn’t actually that great to begin with.
