Which Case Did You Get or Recommend For Your New iPhone 15 /Plus /Pro /Pro Max?

Speaking of MagSafe rings, the frosted Spigen Ultra Hybrid showed up today. Like I said, I’m not the biggest fan of MagSafe rings, but I don’t mind them.

Early impressions of the case: a bit slippery, but not too bad. All buttons are nice and clicky, case feels lightweight and good in the hand, definitely worth the $20 in my opinion, and will definitely stay in my rotation. Also quite the looker, unless you hate the MagSafe ring.

Yeah after i get the PR frosty that is it Lol. if they bring out the bullstrap leather case with a closed bottom then i might consider but thats it.

Sorry if I missed this being discussed, but since you have several variations of the Gen 5, how do the side grips on the crystal compare to the aramid? I found the aramid sides a bit too sharp/pokey for my liking. I saw here that the frosted sides used a harder material, but that the side grips were less pronounced. So, I was curious if the crystal sides are even less aggressive or maybe even have a softer feel. If so, I may order the black crystal since the magsafe ring is black which may be less noticeable on my blue 15 pro. Thanks!

I like it! I rotate between it, sheath, and my Aspen mostly. I don’t think any case can compete with the buttons, and the grips on the sides aren’t over the top like they are on the synthesis. The case is heavier than the sheath, but it really doesn’t feel like it.
Well worth the price I paid for it ;)

Did you order your case through Phone Rebel or on Amazon? Was the customs fees alot when you ordered?

Great question. The crystal is a lot more refined over the aramid. I find the aramid too rough. I gave it away and not in my collection anymore.

I think out of all 3 models (aramid, frosty, and crystal) I easily prefer the feel of the crystal.

I also have a black crystal on the way

I have a black crystal on the way too. I wanna see if I like it better than the frosted. Plus then I won’t have to worry about frostgate

Yes definitely I’ll only keep one. Right now I’m thinking probably return the frosted and keep black crystal, but I’ll see about it when I get it tomorrow. I don’t wanna have to be delicate with the frosting being prone to scratches, & that sort of thing will bother me.
