For those of you who have both the Phone Rebel and the Sheath which one do you prefer? The Sheath has just been delivered to me but currently using the Rebel.

I find the Phone Rebel case very hard to take off...
I have two Phone Rebels (Rebel/Frosted) and multiple iterations of the Sheath and overall I prefer the PR's to the Sheath this gen. The Sheath is still a great case or I would have just returned it outright, but I'd say it's more of an apples to oranges comparison as they each offer a different experience.

I'll use the Sheath for a day every week or so, but I always find myself going back to either of the PR's. I've also just received my component kits (Natty, Black and Orange) which has brought a whole new life to the Rebel's.

Any good thin cases? Using a Caudabe Sheath currently. I love it but wondering if there’s any good super thin options. The Caudabe is a bit heavy.

Pitaka or Apple Silicone for thinness.
That's another negative for the Sheath. Despite being thin, it's heavy. I remember the 13 PM version being 50+ grams. Heavier than protective cases like Mous and Phone Rebel's.

Anyone running Bullstrap on a 15pro? I’ve read that it’s possible on a 15pro that the bottom could cause pinky pain because of the open bottom and where the case starts. On the Max different because of more real estate on the bottom.
I don’t have any issues with the open bottom. I don’t often use my pinky for my 15 Pro but when I do I don’t get any pinky pain.. I have enough grip with my sweaty palms on the leather. With a 15 Pro Max, it’s heavier so I could see how it could irritate some pinkies.

With a Spigen glass screen protector my Rugged has a decent lip, though for a protective case I’d prefer to have slightly more. It seems your ESR screen protector must be thicker?

How thick can esr one be though? Hmm let me order a spigen one and see if it helps

Also is the rugged a pretty tight fit for you as well?

According to their spec sheets, the ESR Amorite is thicker than the Spigen GlasTR.

The Rugged is on the looser side among the cases I have. It’s not loose per se, but not as tight as the Phone Rebel, Pitaka Pro, Mous, and Synthesis.

That's what I dislike about the case..it literally hurts my fingers when trying to remove the case.

The Phone Rebel and Sheath are 2 extremes / different category.

If you want excellent protection then the Phone Rebel.

For me I don’t need the protection the Phone Rebel offers so the Sheath.
That's true
The cases are very different. PR better protection whilst the Sheath is more lightweight.

Here’s the specs of the Sheath and Apple silicone. When you’re coming from the Sheath to Apple silicone I can feel the difference in weight. However when I go from Apple silicone to Sheath I get used it quickly.

The Phone Rebel, Mous are 45 grams for 15 pro.

Plus form factor has a lot to do with it. As you see below the Sheath isn’t far off in dimensions from the Apple silicone. The Sheath also almost has the chamfered edges as the Apple silicone. The Sheath is slightly more boxy. The Pitaka pro for instance is boxy with sharper edges for me.

Sheath
L 149.5 mm
W 73.6
D 12.1
Wgt 40g

Apple Silicone
L 150 mm
W 74.0
D 11.2
Wgt 28g

I got the blue and love it!

Good grip, feel and fit.

My favorite case. Have had it for a couple of months. The blue isn't quite as bright as it was when new but that is to be expected.

You're on the Pro. I checked and the Sheath is 47g for the 15 Pro Max.
Impressive. It got lighter from the 52g 14PM and 50g 13PM versions. Most complaints of the weight are probably from Pro Max users.
I prefer Pitaka's boxy style myself though.

Jesus, that is a heavy boy for what is supposedly a pretty slim case.

Yep the "boxy" Pro isn't that bad at all. After days of usage you don't even feel it. I prefer the 600D pattern (look) and feel. This has now made its way into my top5 cases.

I much prefer a case that follows the form of the naked iPhone. To me the boxy Pitaka doesn’t. The Apple silicone hands down is the winner. Sheath IMO comes in 2nd.

🔥 Feels great in the hand, doesn’t it?

Mannn this case is so underrated .thin and light. Feels great in the hand. ..and I'll get a free revision soon lol. Plus, they must have improved since the OG batch because mine. doesn't seem to scratch at all compared to the other cases which look like sand paper was used to scratch the case up

💯 I’ve been running mine since early November. I’ll get a free version as well.

They did change the iPhone's flat sides to curved sides for the 15 Pros. I have a preference for the flat sides like from the iPhone 4s and 12s to 14s which is probably why I like "boxy" cases.
