I’ve been running the nomad modern leather since day 1

What i would improve
Better speaker cutouts

What I love
Tpu sides are concave and give a great grip. The buttons are amazing and I’ve dropped it a few times and not a mark

Not a huge lip on the front. Easy to swipe and I’m not worried about the screen as I have a screen protector on it

It is light weight and I find the magnets strong enough.

Once again the buttons. Especially the action button and the ribbed power button which makes it easy to position taking the phone out of my pocket.

Can anyone confirm if the Apple clear case this year has a better fit ? Meaning not loose on the corner or pop off easily like previous years ?
Thanks

2nd red andar came in. Has a blotch on the right. Would yall ask for a replacement or accept it as “leather variance” ? My first one didn’t have a blotch like this and neither did my turquoise andar.

That Bare case is a MAJOR fingerprint/grease pit :( I done with that after about 1 hour of use.

Wish I could get my $50. back for that POS

Is the Apple silicone a grease pit this year also?

They will replace that, without the need to return 👍

I would recommend the RhinoShield Clear Case 1000x more than the Apple clear. But it’s all personal preference. Buttons blow Apple clear out of the water, bottom is completely closed, has little slopes on the back to keep elevated off surfaces to reduce scratching, to name a few reasons the RhinoShield is far superior imo.

Well heck yea it’s going to feel heavy conspired to silicone. But the problem for me it’s silicone and fine woven. If I liked silicone you can bet I’d be running the silicone and call it a day. Not only because of weight but just as important or more important because of dimensions. Doesn’t add much bulk.

So what I did was take the next best up which IMO is the Sheath. The only difference in dimensions is that the Sheath is .9mm thicker than the silicone. The length and width the same.

Ok you said it feels heavy for a small phone. Not really. Yea like I said it’s heavier than the silicone. But the Sheath doesn’t feel heavy like “oh sh*t this case is too darn heavy”. Feels like any another case in weight once I run it. Plus it’s closest case out there that I know of to my benchmark of a case which is the Apple Silicone dimensionally.
It's ok if some don't like the c case, It's heavy for a non protective case /theend.

It’s the Torras/Torras Clone case common on Amazon.
This is the exact same case as the Bare Armour. I'm sure Bare just throws their name on the side and charges $50. for a $5.00 China case.

My issue with the Apple silicone isn’t the fingerprints as much as the fact that it starts coming apart so quickly, first peeling on the corners, followed shortly by chunks falling out… lol.

Man that is rough. I've owned probably 10 silicone cases from Apple over the years and I've never had chunks come out like this. The only time I had issues with it are after I dropped it multiple times

Bros dog ate his case and says chunks started falling out lol
Sorry, but nope. My wife, who drops her phone fairly frequently, can destroy the Apple silicone as above in a couple of months. They really don’t hold up well compared to every other case she’s used. Of course, if a person doesn’t drop their phone then anything at all will work.

So the case did its job. Could have clarified how it happened and not just said the case doesn’t hold up.
