I ran the Symmetry today. It’s a nice case, clicky and tactile buttons and the right amount of grip. I was actually impressed. Stupid simple yet functional case as I have said about the Sheath.

However compared to the Sheath it’s noticeably longer, wider and thicker(depth). I know this correlates to the protection it provides but the Sheath provides enough protection for me.

The Symmetry is a fine case but it rarely makes it into my rotation. I’m not a big fan of the soft-ish TPU Otterbox uses. I haven’t used the Symmetry much this year, but in years past the port area would start sagging after continued use. Not a bad case though, if not a little boring compared to some of the current competition.

I think I have solved my problem with the Phone Rebel Clear Black pushing off my screen protector. I have been testing this for 3 days now.

I just used some pliers to bend the case in the left down corner a little bit. You can’t see any visual difference, but the material is a bit less stiff now. For now it seems good.

If not, I have a new dbrand Ghost laying around for 16 EUR. But man, I love the Phone Rebel.

Been using the symmetry mostly for a few months, it's a good summer case here, when I got it had a tiny bit of sag on the bottom, but got better, and no sag at all now.

Red sheath arrived today. Great color and looks awesome but I just can’t get behind the texture. I find it slippery and uncomfortable so I am probably returning and heading back to my Andar which has developed some grip over the last month
It’s interesting how case preferences are so highly subjective. There are things that I’d like to see improved on the Sheath (buttons, MS indent), but to me the texture is its killer feature. A Sheath with its existing texture combined with really nice floating buttons and no MS indent would be hard to beat (for me).

I’m going to give it a few days to see if the texture grows on me because it really does look great (and my buttons are good and I don’t see a mag ring yet)

I was going to order another Sheath but afraid of the ring indent on the back. I haven't had the sheath since the very first launch one. Maybe I'll just order something else. I need a new case o_O
It’s not nearly as bad now as it was early on, at least with the black cases I’ve had. If you do get one with an easily visible ring, they’ll send you a replacement, no return required. As much as I complained earlier, I have to give Caudabe credit for making progress on these issues and making things right with good customer service in the end.

Guess I'll order another Sheath. That red is tempting but I better stick with black.

Any good Caudabe discount codes out there?

I’m surprised there hasn’t been more talk about peak design and mous. They are usually talked about quite a bit in these threads. Seems like there are a few fan favorites acros the 552 pages haha

I don't know about Peak but I love how the Mous feels in the hand.
There's a bunch of downgrades from the previous versions though.
-multiple brandings
-2 lanyard holes. 1 is enough.
-Price. Mous used to sell their cases in my country for $80. Now it's $100+ and I have to buy it from their website

This year must be a branding year because Mous, Phone Rebel and Pitaka slightly ruin their cases with their branding on the back. It looked better with just their symbols.

I almost bought a Mous case but the double branding turned me off

One last case for the road o_O

Phone Rebel Black Crystal or another black Sheath?

Give me your vote ;)

I believe the consensus would easily be the Sheath. I am in the minority which can't stand the feel of that case after a long period of time holding the phone. You can easily take the case off and charge your phone so you don't have to worry about an indentation.

I loved the black crystal but sent mine back due to none of the components they sold separately working properly with the case.
