Which Nomad?First 2 things I want in a case is good grip on the sides and a smooth back. Sheath is too much like sandpaper on the back especially.
Nomad and Symmetry ticks those boxes.
The Phone Rebel Aramid with all black components looks mint with the Black Titanium. The black Nomad Rugged. Do you want a protective one that looks good, or a minimalistic case?I am buying a 15 Pro Max in Space Black for my brother for his 21st birthday. Any recommendations for what case goes well and looks really nice with this colour iphone?
A bit of both tbhThe Phone Rebel Aramid with all black components looks mint with the Black Titanium. The black Nomad Rugged. Do you want a protective one that looks good, or a minimalistic case?
The Mous Aramid looks dope too… I know some don’t like it for the double branding, but i think it’s one of the nicest looking on the black titanium, but the 15 pro version feels sharp after holding for a little while. I’ll have to think which would be my top suggestion and get back to you!A bit of both tbh
He would like something that offers good protection but also good grip and feels good in the hands.
The Nomad Rugged is a massive case right that adds a lot of bulk to an already big device.
The Pitaka Pro looks good on the black phone.I am buying a 15 Pro Max in Space Black for my brother for his 21st birthday. Any recommendations for what case goes well and looks really nice with this colour iphone?
Just received this and I don’t think you’re getting any better if you’re looking for an ultra thin case with buttons and MagSafe. 27g for the 15PM, that’s as light as my Benks ArmorAir and that doesn’t even have buttons!I have tried the fine woven and I was hoping to find thinner.
Thanks! Will check that out.
How are their buttons? Is the action button good? I've been debating their 'Slim' case for a while and the buttons look the same as on that case.My new Njord "suede"case for the PM.
Button works good and the cut outs are also ok. Think, gone order the blue leather salmon also. How are their buttons? Is the action button good? I've been debating their 'Slim' case for a while and the buttons look the same as on that case.
And are the bottom cutouts comfy if you rest the phone on your pinkie?
Nice looking case. How’s the fit compared to say the Sheath or Phone Rebel? I’m tempted to try the Sport, but my Rugged has the loosest fit among all of my cases.Been gone on vacay and sadly no new cases from any companies yet in 2024. Slackers lol...hope you all are doing well. I've been heavily using the coastal rock nomad sport case. Highly recommended.

You can never go wrong with any case if you have a Black iPhone. It's not like Sierra Blue where 90% of cases don't look good with it.I am buying a 15 Pro Max in Space Black for my brother for his 21st birthday. I’m right there with you 100%.I don't know why this iPhone year, this case thread is so angry with people not accepting opinions of others.
If you like a case, great. Recommend it and give your reasons.
If you don't, again, great. Give your reasons as to why you wouldnt recommend it.
No need for the constant telling each other that opinions are wrong.
Some people have great experiences, some have bad. In all walks of life.
Thanks for the report. It’s good to get some real world feedback. Very few YouTube case reviewers do drop tests these days.Frosty Drop Test Results: Trying to get my old fat ass out of a friends truck that is sky high, my phone in the Frosty flew out of my pocket from about 7 foot high and landed face down on some rough pavement I'm thinking that my screen and phone were toast. To my surprise no damage at all and the 4 corners of the Frosty did not even sustain any damage. Frosty, very slippery, pretty good protection in the long run.
I briefly had an aramid Enzo. Like other aramid cases it shows fingerprints and smudges, but they wipe off relatively easily.Right now I have a black Apple Silicone cover for my 15 Pro in Titanium Black.
But I have ordered a Spigen Enzo Aramid, as I can see several people have recommended it. Those of you who have it - I've read it's a fingerprint magnet - do the marks remain permanently, or can it be cleaned with a damp microfiber cloth?
Another thing - the Enzo cover has holes for a strap, which is the only thing that annoys me about that cover. Do you find that dust and dirt get in through those holes?
Why would you get upset about somebody not liking a case lolI’m right there with you 100%.
I used to get a little uptight when people would say they didn’t like the Sheath because it’s my favorite case, thankfully I outgrew that thought process, and now I honestly could not care less if someone talks bad about the Sheath. That is their opinion, and my opinion is that the Sheath is the best case.
It is very freeing once you get to the point of accepting that some people will have differing views, I won’t mention any names cause it doesn’t matter, but I think some people on this thread need to get to the level of accepting different opinions and seeing things from others perspectives.
Thanks for reply. Good to hear that it can be cleaned easily. I have an Apple Silicone case, and I found it picks up greasy fingers quite easily - just like pocket lint. Pocket lint in particular drives me crazy.I briefly had an aramid Enzo. Like other aramid cases it shows fingerprints and smudges, but they wipe off relatively easily.
I only kept the case for a short time, but I’d assume the lanyard openings collect dust like any opening.
I compared the three protective “real” aramid cases - the Enzo, the Benks, and the Pitaka Pro. They’re all nice, but I ended up preferring the feel and build quality of the Pitaka and returned the other two. I also have the aramid Mous and Phone Rebel. All of these aramid cases show fingerprints and smudges to varying degrees, it’s the nature of the beast. Thanks for reply. Good to hear that it can be cleaned easily. May I ask why you switched away from the Spigen Aramid cover, and to which one?
Okay, good knowledge. I think my Enzo cover is at home in the mailbox now, I can't wait to get home so I can see it irl. I also looked at the Pitaka Pro, but I was a little worried about the metal volume buttons not being covered inside. Do you experience scratches on the volume keys with the Pitaka cover?I compared the three protective “real” aramid cases - the Enzo, the Benks, and the Pitaka Pro. No scratches so far. The inside of the Pitaka buttons are very smooth, I don’t think it’s a problem.Okay, good knowledge.
