Could you take a photo of the front with the phone in and maybe one that shows the lip?

Edit: Just had a look on YouTube and the lip is too elevated for my liking. That’s why the Apple one is still the best silicone case I’ve found, minimal lip and the sides don’t curve over onto the front of the phone.
Yep, I agree. Some of the aftermarket silicone cases are too chunky and bulky. Apple silicone so far is a great balance of grippiness and lightweight.

Just a shame the material is sooo sticky. I like the form factor and grip of the apple silicone but the pocket struggles and the fact that it always has bits of lint and dust on it let it down for me

What color is Decoded?
How has your decoded leather case aged? You have the clay colour right? Has it become very dirty from oils from your hands etc...?
Want to get this colour but having reservations as I think it will get dirty too quickly compared to the Black leather colour.

No problem for now! 2 months used and still looks like new but I change my cases often :)

My blue case doesn’t have this problem. The silicon isn’t the old kind that attracted lint. I am using it today, have had it in my pocket, and 0 lint.

Anyone worried about buying the Apple silicon case because of “lint buildup” should take those opinions with a grain of salt.

I have tried the apple silicone case several times over the last few years and all of them have attracted lint to them so if you have one that doesn’t then lucky you. Hold on to it!

Pitaka Pro's lighter than Benks Pro by 3grams.
Hmm, you're right. It makes sense because the metal camera ring on the Benks is a more substantial piece than the ring on the Pitaka Pro. Holding both in hand, I can actually tell the Benks is slightly weightier.

Which one has the lower lip?

They are about the same, but I would give it to the Benks since it's covers the entire titatium frame, while the Pitaka leaves a little more room that reveals some of the frame and doesn't wrap as tight. If the Pitaka fit like the Benks, I would probably not bother with the Benks...or even the Phone Rebel cases I have. Because there is that bit of room between the lip and my Flolab screen protector, it can accumulate dust/lint, and it just feels a bit looser since there is room for pressure to push off. Hard to explain until you have both in hand. What is nice about the Pitaka Pro is the aramid wraps around to the sides and then molds with the rubber. No other case brand has done that.

Has anyone found a solution to the sharp usb-c cutout on the official silicone case? I love the case but the sharp cutouts made me stop using it.. wondering if anyone else has this issue. I tried exchanging it a couple times but they all have the same issue for my 15 pro

Take and x-acto knife and trim the edge at 45°?

Took the case right out of my pocket for a photo, no cleaning of whatsoever. Judge for yourself…

Just got my daughter a pink iPhone 15 and she wanted this pink otterbox defender, so that’s coming tomorrow. Hoping it’s relatively kid proof! Of course we have AppleCare + theft and loss, because this is a middle schooler we’re talking about here.

After agonizing for a long time over what my next case will be, I’ve decided to go back to Speck—all my older iPhones were in Speck cases and I was very happy with them. I currently have the Apple silicone “guava” case and I love it so much but it has damage now after a fall. Case did its job though as my phone survived unscathed!
