Graphite May be a boring color but you can make it a lot less boring with so many skin color options or even case options.

I rather have that option then to get a new color phone with only one case to use through out the year.

That is the only reason for not getting the Sierra Blue. It just doesn’t look that good with a case. Well apart for the clear cases.

Explain that. With a non-clear case, the only thing that shows is switch on the side and the camera area. It should look just fine with (say) a black case.

Well the cameras are quite big. That cool color area really doesn’t fit well with most warm case colors

Pacific Blue on my 12 Pro was boring for me, this year I am deciding between 12 Pro Max Gold and Graphite. I used to have an iPhone 5s Gold and now have an iPad Pro and a MacBook Space Gray.

Really impressed with the Gold color on last year's iPhone 12 Pro.

Good choice. Classy yet versatile with all color cases if you go that route.

I have the 12 Pro Max in silver/white and was going to get it again as it is very pretty. However, I decided that if I'm getting a new phone, it might be more "exciting" if it didn't look exactly like my old one ... so I changed my pre-order to Sierra Blue.

Was all set on ordering 13 Pro, but changed my mind last minute to 13. This is for my wife who loves to take pictures, but doesn't like to tinker around with different modes/settings. I figure the added things on 13 Pro weren't worth it as they will never get used. I have the 12 Pro, but decided to skip the upgrade this year.

For any guys who have a gold 12 Pro/Pro Max, what do you think of it? Were you happy with the choice? Never got a gold one before but I'm highly considering it as it looks very sleek and elegant in the renders. The back is more of a 'warm white' than a gold, with the edges only being truly gold. It looks like a very nice combination.

It's between that and the new blue, but I'm really on the fence about that... not sure if I like it or not. Might get sick of it eventually.

Also not sure re: case colour combinations and which of the two would go better with more case colours.

i have the gold 12 pro max since release day and caseless as well. i really enjoy and love the gold! like u said, the back of it is subtle but the sides are shiny and gold.. i really love the shiny sides and also the camera lens’ are also gold and shiny. it also goes well with my series 6 gold stainless steel watch!

the sierra blue is really cool but i love the gold too much to let go this early lol so i decided to order the gold 13 pro max! good luck

Silver (uh, white, really), not because of looks, but because as these get smaller & thinner (relatively speaking to what's inside thermally, I know this year's is slightly thicker, but it's also packing a lot more Wh of battery, etc, and likely slightly higher TDP on the SoC w/the extra graphics core), I'm having more and more "your iPhone needs to cool down" when used outdoors in the summer even in moderate climates (I live at 8700 ft, the hottest it gets is upper 70s F...), figured the darker colors I've favored (most recently the 12PM blue) aren't doing that any favors.

Part of me wants to get gold just because it's always the least popular color and I haven't had a gold phone since the 6S. At the same time, I love the Midnight Green on my 11 Pro Max and I do like getting the new color.

So right now I'm torn between Blue and Gold. I'm going to have see them in person first, unfortunately. No pre-ordering. I'll make the decision in the store.

This time going with the Pro. Have Xs Max now. Xs Max was always been just a little too big for my hands. So the bigger Pro Max was out of the question. I always take white as I am a big fan of polished stainless steel as it repairs easy. I also always take a sliver stainless watch for the same reason.

the gold color is really beautiful. Make me reconsider the 12 pro graphite that I preordered yesterday…

and the size of the pro max is not that big after all… arghhh I have to see the other colors (graphite and silver) to make my final decision.

I ordered the iPhone 13 Pro Max Graphite 1TB.

I am replacing my iPhone 12 Pro Max Graphite 512gb.

Currently I have about 120gb storage left in my phone but that is because my video and photo settings are not are the highest resolution.

I think it is time to max out the quality settings. Might as well record videos in 4K now that 4K TV is already a standard now and 8K TVs re also out. No more recoding videos in HD and FHD from now.

Anyway I chose the Graphite color mainly because I have some skins left from my iPhone 12 Pro Max usage which I intend to use and I will probably get more.

Having a look at dBrand, just like last year it came to the same decision doe me, graphite or Pacific Blue. The pacific blue didn’t look great with the skins I wanted to use so I went with graphite color.

Now again, I have decided on the graphite color after seeing how the skins will look with the Sierra Blue. You can have a look here and see for yourself if you are into Skins.

I f you are going to use a case then any color will be fine then as only the camera will be viewable. For that too, graphite color tops because it matches many case colors. Many custom possibilities with graphite color if you use skins or cases.

I really can’t use just one case through out the year. I change my skins ever month.

For working days to the office I use these 2 alternatively.

These 2 in the weekends but every alternate week.

I stoped using cases. It just adds bulk.



When I get my phone next week will be using these skins

My dBrand skins are all without the apple logo. Just figured out how to take pictures without that logo. The pictures above show the logo but mine have no logo. I like it that way.
