I liked kind of brownish Desert color from the leaked images before the event, but the real Desert titanium looks just similar to old gold color of the previous iPhones…. 😞

The muted gold color on the back throws it off for me.
The gold tint on the frame is really nice and classy but it needs to compliment a more gold color of the rest of the phone.

IF I buy this year, it will be the black. I've never liked lighter colors, and the desert titanium looks a bit cheesy to me.
Pre-pre-ordered black. My wife has a gray 15 Pro and it looks so ... boring, IMO. Never been a fan of gold, and the white one is cool but I hate the way the camera lenses stick out so much, being black on a white background. So I'm upgrading from a purple iPhone 14 Pro Max to a black 16 Pro Max.
Edit: Changed my pre-pre-order from black to white. Then changed my mind again, and went with natural titanium (convincing myself it looks more silver than gray). Doesn't really matter to me as I only see the front of the device 99% of the time.

Anyways, a little disappointed the poop brown didn’t pan out, but I do enjoy the desert tit… I just love my 13p Sierra Blue… 🙁 hydrated piss yellow will do though.
I have a natural titanium 15 Pro, and the natural titanium of 16 Pro in images and videos from the event looks a bit lighter to me than 15 Pro.

I have been buying black since gen 1. Plus using a case since 8 or whatever. This year I am thinking to do the polar opposite: 16 PM in white and go caseless.

Is there any video out that shows the difference between the Natural Titanium on the iPhone 15PM and the same colour on the iPhone 16PM? Or are they 100% the same?
