im defintely feeling the avatar logo more than anything.. but outta the first two the latter seems to strike me as being a lot stronger

Logo

Hi bro, I'm mixed media designer, and I think that the complete white logo doesn't have very mucho beaty, I'll probably use the black and white BUT the black color over the blue background it's missing himself, I can tell you that try to use an outline or a outer glow over the black logo, just with the black letters, and you will have a nice result..

OK, i have a new logo altogether. it is a bit from my old logo (tominated software/avatar) and ... well... text. here it is

Honestly, I'm kind of surprised you're continuing with that logo given the use of that style by Quark and the Scottish Arts Council.

That aside, it looks uninspired. the Quark-type logo and "Design" seem to be just placed together without any real reasoning behind it. There's no flow. I can think of a thousand ways to say it, but I suggest you go back to the drawing board.

You've got talent, but I think that you're forcing this too much.

Try some totally different ideas. Also, make an iconic image that can scale up and down nicely. You are a "design" company so it should be creative.
