64GB + 3G, I'll want to browse the web while commuting, and the more storage the better really.

32GB model but I am not sure if I should get 3G. 32GB will be a perfect fit between my Mac mini and iPhone.

Gotta go with the 16 Gb WiFi to sample all that iPad goodness, and save the rest of the cash to flash out on the top-of-the-line mindblowing 2nd Gen model next year.

Why bother getting the 3G when you can just use mifi and tether your iPad and save the $30/month and the extra $130. There is a lot of interest to Jailbreak the iPad already...probably gonna happen! GeoHot...help please!

Because, battery drain on the iPhone. Also, no GPS. It will be sick to have the iPad as a GPS. I can only imagine the apps that will come out for that, and I don't want to miss out on that.

I've been seeing this suggestion a lot but doesn't the MiFi require a 2 year contract at $60 a month? With the iPad, I'm not locked in. I can pay and cancel as I like. What's not to like about that?

The 32GB iPad wifi+3G is perfect for me. I will be selling my macbook to purchase a new iMac as well. iMac, iPad, iPhone. That's all I need. :apple:

Until I get to play with one and see what is finally released I'm not sure which model I would choose. I'm leaning toward the 32G Wifi only. Paying an additional $130.00 for the 3G radio hardware seems a bit excessive, especially since this is not new technology and I'm sure the development costs have been recovered for quite a while. Plus the monthly fees. Now if AT&T would give iPhone owners a break I would consider it. AT&T gets enough of my money. I plan on moving in the not too distant future and if I cannot get the 3G coverage then I would have wasted the money.:(

I'm still considering between the 16 and 32GB. I never use up the space on my iPods and I doubt my iPad will be any different. However I know for sure now that I'll be getting the 3G. The internet coverage on my cell is ridiculous, really slow and unreliable so the iPad will be perfect for me to browse when I'm travelling. :)

Can I change my vote? I just won $800 in a lottery and now it's 32GB 3G for sure!!!! :D

I couldn't stand it any longer and since we live in the weeds I figured I'd go insane trying to find an iPad on launch day withing a 100 miles, so I just preordered a 64gig wifi and case. I was hoping to hold out long enough to actually play with one first..........alas, no way. I'm a tech-junkie and I need serious help. :D

Same here, LMAO! :)

I'll probably get the 16gig + 3G, but I'd love to get the 32gb model. My company will reimburse me 50% of the cost (up to 500 bucks), so either model will cost me in the 300-400 dollars range when you throw in some of the add-ons.

So, will this be your own personal device that your company is reimbursing you for? Who will the owner be?
