All my iPads have cellular data

5G is practically free PAN India (under 5 bucks a month for like 100 GB 5G data)

Fee is only for international travel

Did you end up getting 1 TB or 256 GB? Asking because it's going to be my first iPad, definitely going with Cellular because JIO 5G is unlimited. However I am not sure about paying the extra for 1 TB, especially after the base models are found to have 12 GB RAM.

Air M1 for the cool price of $399. I have a 15 pro max and stream any and everything anyways. The 11 pro is very nice, very thin and an extremely sexy screen, nice speakers too BUT for the price difference, M1 air is hands down supreme in my case. Also snagged the Gen 2 pencil for $80 same price as the usb C model
Well done - clearly the FOMO and insane pricing on the Pros didn’t catch you. :)
Refuse to even say what my 13” Pro cost me. Will keep it for 5 years or more most likely, but damn. Always liked the Airs..

I’m an artist and chose the 11” iPad Pro back in 2018. To me it is more of a true tablet than the 13”. Even tho my 2018 iPad Pro is still going strong, I may upgrade to the M4 for the OLED screen & apple pencil pro. 90% sure I’ll get the 11” again. But going to check them out in the store to be sure. I also plan to upgrade my iPad mini 5 when the 7 comes out in September. I use that as a digital sketchbook when I really want to travel light. I don’t own a laptop anymore as the iPad has replaced it as my main content creation tool & media consumption device. 👍🏼
Yeah, it’s kind of interesting to see who picks what size. Working in tech and wanting to get a ‘replacement’ for my MBP as much as is possible for light work, travel, etc. - I liked my prior Air 2 but had to go with the 12.9 iPad Pro previously and now for the M4 13”. I don’t think I could ever go back, but I’m an avid Magic Keyboard user.

My wife, who ironically has much poorer eyesight since birth vs my 20/20 or 20/15 but now starting to drop, she always loved her Mini, which to me was just a slightly bigger iPhone. She’s a teacher and more artistically talented than I and was using hers for remote teaching with the pencil. I think in both cases - I couldn’t get her to move to the 13” nor would I move to an 11”.

I bought the 1TB 13” Wi-Fi and realized I need the 2TB [due to file sizes]. I’m still in the return window [will return this weekend].

Overall, I love it.

iPad Pro 11”, space black, 256G, cellular, Magic Keyboard, Pencil Pro. “Skinned” both the iPad and the keyboard. Am getting used to the keyboard since it’s very different from the keyboard folio, but it has a great feel for typing and I like the backlit keys. The iPad seems less like a tablet and more like an ultraportable with the MK than with the keyboard folio. I like the KF for being sealed but the typing experience is much nicer on the MK and the magnets are MUCH stronger so little or no chance of the iPad coming lose from the keyboard like my 2021 does from the KF.

(11” is my sweet spot for devices. I’ve used 30 lb. “portables” all the way down to 8” networks and Windows tablets. I know from experience that 13” and 12” are too big, 11” is just right for me.)

And I got a 13” Air, no keyboard. It’s in an ESR Shift case so that I can use it with just the inner case on a Lamicoll stand for watching videos (watercolor and Procreate tutorials, dog training videos). I probably won’t take it out of my house much. It’s perfect sitting on my desk that way, small footprint and the perfect size for watching videos while working.

Matte glass screen protector on both.

(I know I’m weird…)

I got the M4 iPad Pro 11", space black, 256 GB, cellular, Magic Keyboard. No pencil as I never used that (I got the previous one and only used it for tests for a few minutes).

I have upgraded from an M1 iPad Pro 11".

My main reasons for the upgrade were the OLED display and the new keyboard, and I just love everything about this new combo. Also, 13" would have been too big for me. I have a 13" MacBook Air, and as I'm on trains a lot, that's just too big.

Bought the M4 iPP 13” 1TB nano texture screen version. Upgraded from an M1 12.9” 256GB version - both cellular versions. The things that prompted my upgrade:
1. Better battery life
2. Lighter
3. nano matte screen

Not expected or requested, the new trackpad on the Maginc Keyboard is awesome. The keyboard really does behave just like a MacBook (Air or Pro) keyboard.

The 2018 iPad Pro 12.9” was one of the few Apple products on my list of top Apple products I’ve owned over the past 35+ years. The M4 iPad Pro is yet again another fantastic Apple product that makes me feel lucky to own and use.

Went from 2018 11" cellular IPP with 512GB to M4 cellular IPP 256GB (waiting for delivery).

It was time.... I also ordered Pencil Pro and paper feel screen protector.

I probably will not get the keyboard. I have pretty clear use cases for my devices, and I have three other laptops. :)

I bought the base iPad Air M1. I bought it because I honestly felt like it would do everything I wanted: video editing, livestream, gaming, productivity, and content consumption, while having the ability to connect to an external monitor, in a device that, with trade in, cost me just $275.

Just ordered the 11” iPad Air 2024 with the M2 chip. Coming from an iPad Air 5, didn’t particularly need to upgrade but I am running out of storage on this Air 5 as it’s only 64gb. 128gb will be plenty enough for my needs, I basically just browse the internet, social media and watch videos. Don’t need the all-singing, all-dancing M4 Pro for that!

My current Air 5 will be going to my mum.

Rule 1

Never buy an iPad without ProMotion (and even quad speakers are important)

So everything but Pros are out

Rule 2

Always buy cellular

Rule 3

256 GB is enough for me

Got the 13inch M4 Pro Cellular 256 in Silver

Yeah, for you. I couldn’t care less about ProMotion and I don’t take my iPad out of the house so no use for cellular. These are just rules for yourself.
