Not a true TV "series", but last night, I watched "The Green River Killer: Mind of a Monster", and boy, did it hit home! We actually live up in that area. In fact, after we moved to our town home in 2005, it is only about a mile or so from the Green River. I actually recognize a lot of those scenes in the documentary, especially Kenworth Trucking. And that first bridge shown in the documentary, my wife and I have walked over it MANY times!
Here is a link to it, and one can watch on line:

What it also inspired me to do was to start watching, again, the excellent Netflix series: Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes. He is also from an area close to where we used to live. Previously, I re-watched another excellent Netflix series with a "similar" there: Manhunt: Unabomber.
And I just saw this:
How Ted Bundy Helped Catch the Green River Killer
By providing insight into the mind of a serial killer, Bundy aided detectives in capturing Gary Ridgway.www.biography.com
Talk about a twist of irony!
I myself was living in Federal Way for all he time Ridgway committed those crimes, and also while Ted Bundy was doing his. Moved to Kent on 2005, and have walked along the Green River numerous times.I may need to watch it just to see how it meshes with my memory. I graduated High School in 1978 (the killings started in early 80s) just West of Sea-Tac airport (Burien, WA) and was back during the Summers while I attended WSU. He wasn't caught until after I went to Upstate NY for graduate school.
Started watching Chernobyl(2019).
Interesting. I hope it is as good as The China Syndrome was:Great series.
Looking for a good horror show to start binging on tonight. Thinking of starting Locke & Key. Is it good? Yay or nay?
Haunting of Hill House
I read it's decent, I'm currently reading the comics (digital via Hoopla), but if I were recommending a horror series, these come to mind:
Haunting of Hill House
Channel Zero (new story each season)
The Terror (specifically Season 1, spectacular)
Castle Rock (absolutely if you're fan of S. King)
Dark (dub'ed so might be a bit "uncanny valley", but excellent)
Bates Motel
... and that kind of assumes you don't want anything too campy / silly (though those can be fun too), i.e., American Horror Story, Supernatural , What We Do in the Shadows ...
Nay. It’s okay but not really horror. More aimed at young teens I’d say.Looking for a good horror show to start binging on tonight. Thinking of starting Locke & Key. Is it good? Yay or nay?

Thanks for the suggestions!
Haunting of Hill House I've already watched, waiting eagerly for season 2!
Channel Zero and The Terror I've never heard of, need to see where they're available!
Castle Rock I've actually heard of, just had forgotten about it. Definitely a fan of King's, so thanks for the reminder!
Dark is probably my favorite Netflix show to date (the German original track being one of the reasons, helps me keep my German in check!), bring on season 3!
Bates Motel I need to check out!
Speaking of the campy ones you mentioned, AHS was fun for a while, but the last two seasons haven't really reeled me in like some of the previous ones, and I'm probably the only one ever to think the Hotel season is probably the best one of the bunch. Some of the songs they used in that season were just phenomenal, and I also liked the visuals a lot.
If What We Do in the Shadows is based on the brilliant film of the same name, I definitely need to check it out as soon as possible!
So thanks a bunch, I think I'm good for a while!
Channel Zero was on SyFy, it's lower budget but they still do a solid job - it's an anthology (per season) the concept is based on Creepy Pasta, for those not ITK, these are stories shared on the 'net where people contribute experiences, but it's all fiction, it's like social/collaborative story telling. Anyway, each of the seasons are based on one of the more popular creepy pastas. The narratives can get a little abstract, kind of go on and off the rails, but the general concept is usually pretty creepy, and they're well shot and acted.
Did the Last Podcast of the Left cover some of these as well..? I seem to remember there being a few episodes about pasta and whatnot, before they went and became a Spotify exclusive. In any case, thanks a bunch!
Well, son of a gun, I only recently started listening to that Pod, and didn't realize it had stoped being an open podcast source!

BTW, I've been listening to this one, it's super fun, 2 people into horror films, get a 3rd person who doesn't normally watch, to review one (that he's watching for the first time):
