I love the show so its easy, I have 576 PAL copies ripped into Plex and look great without pillars.
SG-1 is so easy for me to go back to. The rewatch value is so high. It never gets old for me and it feels so damn wholesome every time I rewatch.

I love it so much it's insane. I've watched it so many times I lost count and enjoy it each time. I kidded my wife that one of the advantages of getting old is my memory is getting so weak I can watch my favorite shows over and over and don't remember exactly how they end!! SG1 and Atlantis are at the top of the list!! I wish I could find the first seven seasons in HD but I've researched it and the word was then it's just too costly for them to do it.
One of my favorites! I only watched the first 2 seasons, but it was well done. Also, it takes place in the Seattle, WA area.1) Have you watched The Killing? Pretty fantastic (Kinnaman and Mireille Enos), though it changed networks twice, and had a two-seasons that probably were more like one LONG season (that was also between the AMC >> Fox migration)
I liked the first season, but season 2 is just... meh.Watching the first season of Absentia and have enjoyed it so far. I would recommend the first season to my friends.
My wife and I have started watching Criminal Minds on Netflix. So far, we like it.

Farscape was excellent! Really good show on a tight budget.Man, you have a stronger constitution than I, my good fellow! I have watched specific episodes in the last few years, I have watched all of Stargate: Atlantis & Stargate: Universe as of late, but cannot bring myself to slog thru all of SG1...
Although I have een thinking about running thru Farscape again, because Claudia Black is hot... Huh, must be why I watched the last couple seasons of SG1 awhile back...?
And the pillar-boxing is rough, how did I watch 640x480 NTSC back in the day..?!? ;^p
Totally agree. The ending was not as good as some of the earlier seasons. But isn’t that often the way?Finished season 5 of Grimm. I still mostly like it, but this season seemed that the writers forgot everything previously established about Wessen, and Nick falling for Adelind was just not believable.

The past few weeks we finished S01 of Babylon Berlin.
Yeah, it bothered me enough that I looked up a Grimm forum. The writers felt that they had written themselves into a corner, the final season was cut almost in half, so the plan of having Renard as the bad guy failed, so they took a different direction.Totally agree. Yes the Ori were not such a strong storyline by any stretch.Yeah, it bothered me enough that I looked up a Grimm forum. Reminds me of the last three seasons of Stargate SG1 where they completed their story arc, but fans asked for more, so they added new bad guys just to keep going.
That, and the loss of McGuyver. The show wasn't the same, but still decent.Yes the Ori were not such a strong storyline by any stretch.
Agree. Like most Scfi shows with long runs, there are also some episodes where you feel the writers had the week off! But agree it was a good show. I also enjoyed the two spinoffs. That, and the loss of McGuyver. The show wasn't the same, but still decent.
I really wanted to watch the spinoffs, but then just never bothered.Agree. Like most Scfi shows with long runs, there are also some episodes where you feel the writers had the week off! But agree it was a good show. I also enjoyed the two spinoffs.
