SG-1 is so easy for me to go back to. The rewatch value is so high. It never gets old for me and it feels so damn wholesome every time I rewatch.

I love it so much it's insane. I've watched it so many times I lost count and enjoy it each time. I kidded my wife that one of the advantages of getting old is my memory is getting so weak I can watch my favorite shows over and over and don't remember exactly how they end!! SG1 and Atlantis are at the top of the list!! I wish I could find the first seven seasons in HD but I've researched it and the word was then it's just too costly for them to do it.

Oh how I wish they'd release the first seven seasons in HD/4K. That would be amazing! It would be the easiest instant buy for me in a long time.

Richard Dean Anderson played Jack O'Neill so well. He WAS Jack O'Neill. The entire main cast were absolutely perfect for their roles and I can never get over how perfect the show ended up being in the end. It has its flaws but damn-it-to-hell it was nearly flawless to me.

Atlantis was excellent as well.

1) Have you watched The Killing? Pretty fantastic (Kinnaman and Mireille Enos), though it changed networks twice, and had a two-seasons that probably were more like one LONG season (that was also between the AMC >> Fox migration)
One of my favorites! I only watched the first 2 seasons, but it was well done. Also, it takes place in the Seattle, WA area.

Man, you have a stronger constitution than I, my good fellow! I have watched specific episodes in the last few years, I have watched all of Stargate: Atlantis & Stargate: Universe as of late, but cannot bring myself to slog thru all of SG1...

Although I have een thinking about running thru Farscape again, because Claudia Black is hot... Huh, must be why I watched the last couple seasons of SG1 awhile back...?

And the pillar-boxing is rough, how did I watch 640x480 NTSC back in the day..?!? ;^p
Farscape was excellent! Really good show on a tight budget.

I just started this series on Netflix. It's foreign (audio dubbed well), which I normally don't care for, but I find it highly entertaining so far.

Finished season 5 of Grimm. I still mostly like it, but this season seemed that the writers forgot everything previously established about Wessen, and Nick falling for Adelind was just not believable.

Totally agree. The ending was not as good as some of the earlier seasons. But isn’t that often the way?

Finished Grimm. Really sad about the ending, and basically the last two seasons. It ended happy, but just didn't seem to keep continuity.

We're starting Good Omens again.

Anyone else like to watch the same series over and over again, with a 6-month to 2 year break in between?

Over the past few months, I have binged the following:
The Expanse
Psych
Scrubs
Farscape
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

I have seen everyone multiple times, but enjoy rewatching them.

My wife and I are currently watching The X-Files. We only watch about 1 episode a day on average, so I don't think it would be considered "Bingeing".

I bought The X-Files series on Blu-Ray and added it to Plex. I am very impress with how it looks and can tell that it was remastered by people that actually care (not like the Buffy Blu-Ray).

I watched X-Files when it originally Aired, and once on streaming before, so still nothing new for me.

I am currently watching the first season of Hanna again, and will watch the second after.

I will probably rewatch The Boys next to get ready for the second season.

The past few weeks we finished S01 of Babylon Berlin.

Sorry for resurrecting a post you made a year and a half ago. But I'd have to second your assessment. Bloody brilliant!

As someone who has made an exhaustive study of the historical period in question, the producers and writers of Babylon Berlin did an absolutely fantastic job. There were probably a hundred easy rotten ways they could have made that show. But they didn't choose any of them.

The richness, and subtlety of the world the created is immensely satisfying and engrossing. Like the police officer with the deaf parents who is recruited to keep tabs on a colleague who is conspiring with the Black Reichswehr. Thank god for them keeping Adolf Hitler and Nazism as - at best - a minor factor in the whole story.

Some very strong performances, but all of them contributing to a rich, vibrant, and compelling story.

Yeah, it bothered me enough that I looked up a Grimm forum. The writers felt that they had written themselves into a corner, the final season was cut almost in half, so the plan of having Renard as the bad guy failed, so they took a different direction.

Reminds me of the last three seasons of Stargate SG1 where they completed their story arc, but fans asked for more, so they added new bad guys just to keep going.

Yes the Ori were not such a strong storyline by any stretch.

Agree. Like most Scfi shows with long runs, there are also some episodes where you feel the writers had the week off! But agree it was a good show. I also enjoyed the two spinoffs.
I really wanted to watch the spinoffs, but then just never bothered.
