Finished Season 3 of Star Trek: Discovery (I had binged the first 11 episodes, then had to wait for the final two episodes to "air" via CBS All Access streaming...

Haters can hate, I enjoy all of the new Star Trek streaming series & Kelvin timeline movies; just as campy & sappy & sci-fi as the OG Trek...! ;^p

Watching Short Treks right now, how did I miss those...!?!

I recently found Schitt$ Creek on Netflix and have been LMAO since S1E1. Slick writing & great acting made this a fast favorite. I'm also revisiting The Big Bang Theory to distract myself on my lunch hour during the workday.

i have been watching the tv seriesl Treadstone. Plenty of action but they seem to be chasing each other but not big reason why so give it 2.5 of 5 stars

Peaky Blinders. You guys across the pond might struggle with the Black Country Twang, but as I live here it’s easier for me to understand.
BTW in case you aren’t familiar with it the Black Country is an area surrounding Dudley and Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, U.K. so called because of its ties with the mining and industrial revolution. Nothing to do with Race. More to do with air pollution!

That’s what subtitles are for. I love Deadwood, but they did such a good job writing for the style at the time that I have to put subtitles on to understand what they’re talking about. It’s literally that joke: “he’s speaking English, but a I can’t understand what he’s saying!”

I finished The Clone Wars and started Rebels. So far three episodes in it’s not bad. Looking forward to seeing Ahsoka in this series as I thought she was awesome in TCW.

The Serpent. 8 part story shown on the BBC here in the UK, probably on Netflix around the rest of the world as its a BBC/Netflix co-production.
Based on a true story about a guy who murdered young travellers in various locations around the world. Gripping stuff.
Stars Jenna Colman, Clara from Doctor Who. Highly recommended.

It’s not on U.S. Netflix as yet, but I’ll keep an eye out for it. Looks good.

I saw Tales from the Loop. What a great show, seriously. Like many people say, it is like a Black Mirror with a humanist view. But I would go further, and say it is a show about human emotions, human experiences, in a sci fi context. I definitely liked it, and I would recommend it, not only for the plot, but for the acting, the photography, the color palette, the pace of the show, even the soundtrack is great. Oh, and many scenes are based on the work of a known artist, which name I never remember.

I enjoyed every episode, the stories are independent so you can see each episode separately but I recommend watching them in order, as there is a little main story, or events, in some episodes.

On some episodes I cried, yes, and the last one is directed by Jodie Foster.

Looking forward for the next season.
You can watch the show on Amazon Prime Video.

The Flight Attendant is based on a book... though I don't know how far the book went.

It has been renewed for a second season. We know XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. So there are plenty of opportunities.
Posting a spoiler from the book, about events that haven't taken place in the TV series yet, is not cool.

Michael Scrip replied to this post below, and I can't say I'm surprised with his snarky reply and unwillingness to take ownership for the spoiler he posted. I realize that when people feel impotent in their own lives, they take comfort in exerting a type of twisted power through spoilers. They deserve pity more than scorn.

I don't know anything about the book. I've never read it... nor was I even aware of its existence prior to the TV series.

What I posted has already happened in the TV series.

Then I speculated on what might happen in season 2 of the TV series.

But yes... I shouldn't have talked about a TV series with another user who also was talking about a TV series.

My apologies.

I was just thrilled that someone else was discussing a show I liked. With so much content out there... everyone seems to be watching different things. I got a little excited.

Again... I'm sorry. 😢

Just started the last season of Sabrina on Netflix... Bummed that it is ending though.
Actually, it's good this has been axed. It started of really strong with a fantastic first season. The second could not live up to it and the third season was a mess. And just when things couldn't get any worse, season four comes along, proves it actually can get worse and is the biggest cluster **** that could happen with plot holes the size of a black hole in the center of a galaxy. Good thing they pulled the plug, they should let the whole franchise sit for a few years and then reboot it with new cast and some writers who actually know how to write.
