Rewatching both seasons of Fleabag. It's brilliant, hilarious, and sad.

Loved this one in a "can't not watch a train wreck" kind of way. The show was well done, but the character of Fleabag was just so sadly compelling. Would have liked to see it continue.

Another one that I enjoyed was Frayed... wealthy British wife is widowed, and is forced to return to her hometown in Australia and deal with past issues. Sadly, only 6 episodes.

OK, watched the first 2 episodes of this new one, The Ripper:

Definitely riveting! I never knew of such a serial killer, but what's uncanny is how close it is in terms of girls killed to another gem, The Green River Killer: Mind of a Monster:

What's so "at home" about The Green River Killer is that we live so, so close to those locations on Pacific Highway South, and the Green River itself. We even knew of someone who worked at Kenworth Trucking. In fact, we take walks along that river, and for the location of the first woman Gary Ridgway, the Meeker Bridge, we do walk to there!

And of course for the other infamous serial killer, Ted Bundy, Netflix has an excellent series about him: Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes:

A good amount of those locations in and around Seattle are definitely familiar to us. And our oldest son, when he was attending The University of Washington, has been to some of those Sorority Houses.

Currently watching this series on Netflix too and although I know so much about the case already, it’s a good watch. It’s difficult growing up in Britain and not knowing about the Yorkshire Ripper as he’s still our most infamous serial killer to date after perhaps Jack the Ripper.

I think Sutcliffe changed our perceptions of what a murderer is to be honest. He wasn’t a big man and looked normal which is why nobody who knew him was suspicious of his character. The police were always a step behind and only caught him by accident and I can’t help but think a killer would not have been able to control the authorities for so long in this day and age. The absence of CCTV and mobile phones would make his reign of terror almost impossible today.

Oh I'll check out Frayed. Thanks for the recommendation.

Will try and forget Sutcliffe, as I have not yet reached the end.

But just like you, it's not easy living where we do. And we got two "whammies" of infamous serial killers: Ted Bundy and Gary Ridgway. Regarding Ridgway, he also got away with it for a number of years (even taking a "break" for a few years), but it was DNA evidence later on that led police to nail him.

OK, another clip from Cobra Kai Season 3:

Seems like different information is being released almost every day. That January 8th date for season 3 will be HUGE!

Stargate Command
Star Trek Discovery Season 3 right now (99¢ first month deal on Amazon Prime Video)...

SO much more to watch, yet I find myself usually watching things I have seen already (stopped Stargate SG1 to start STD3)...

OK, BIG, BIG News!

Yes, Cobra Kai is coming a week earlier, on New Year's Day. Can't wait!

And as Johnny Lawrence said, "Send it to the internet!". I'm willing to bet that premiere will be HUGE, HUGE, HUGE! In fact, a world wide event.

Started watching Kingdom on Netflix. Went in cold, but the wife had seen it already and wanted to watch it again. Good fun. Think samurai x zombies, but Korean. Not dubbed thankfully. Two episodes in to two seasons. Not sure if there will be more.

Watched the first four episodes of season two of Pennyworth; production on the rest of the season to resume 2021...?

On season three of Berlin Station right now...

Battlestar Galactica. Somehow I’ve not watched it before despite generally really liking sci-fi. I was aware of it but thought it was just run-of-the mill trashy sci-fi. How wrong I was. Incredibly dark and grown up

There is the mini-series, the four seasons of BSG, The Plan (video movie), & Razor (video movie)...

And there are two "prequels"; Caprica, & Blood and Chrome; if you wanna get crazy...?

(...I cannot speak towards Caprica because I never watched it, but definitely check out Blood and Chrome...)

Did you watch the original TV series?
The 70s series? No. Never seen it and it’s not conveniently all on iPlayer either

I started with the mini-series and am on season 3 (I think). They are all on BBC iPlayer here in the UK. Not sure the rest is. If I can find it somewhere I already pay for I might watch the rest.
