Recently finished season 4 of Fargo. It was decent on its own, but disappointing as a season of Fargo.

Also watched The Undoing on HBO Max. I stuck around to see who did it, but otherwise didn't find it very compelling. Strong acting for the most part though. I heard comparisons to Big Little Lies, but it reminded me more of TV+'s Defending Jacob.

And just started The Flight Attendant also on HBO Max. It's a little crazy but intriguing so far.

Could not agree more! Any of the prior 3 seasons were infinitely better.

Just finished watching another enjoyable Korean series on Netflix, entitled "Hospital Playlist":

Very enjoyable! I sure would not want to be a doctor working at such a hospital, though. One basically has no life.

Just started another called "Iris":

So far, so good. And it reminds me of the Jason Bourne series. My wife has seen it before, and tells me it gets better and better.

Wife and I started Broadchurch tonight. Not sure what to make of it yet. Anyone else watched this one?
I loved Broadchurch and have rewatched it a couple of times. I'll watch anything with David Tennant and Olivia Colman. The soundtrack was composed by Olafur Arnalds, a favorite of mine. What's funny is that Tennant also performed the same role in the American remake of Broadchurch, Gracepoint, only with an American accent. I could barely get through the first episode.

And then there's the funny connection with Tennant and Jodie Whittaker, who both played Dr. Who.

Interesting... and the wife has been watching The Crown ... both Olivia Colman (Ellie) and Andrew Buchan (Mark Latimer) are in that... so she recognized them both.

We're about 4 episodes in so far...

Oh right, yes, Andrew Buchan as Andrew Parker-Bowles. Broadchurch is not an easy story but it's well told and acted.

The Hunting of Bly Manor (2020).
Entertaining enough, but not as engaging and thrilling as its predecessor ("The Hunting of Hill House"). Most of the story is dragged and dragged. The acting is superb with one exception: the main character, portrayed by Victoria Pedretti. I don't think that it's Pedretti's fault, but after a while I couldn't stand her character and hoped to see her eaten by some monster. Half of the time she cries, and the other half she's almost crying. She's just petulant, all throughout the series, with very little accomplished. This show was not well written. Another example is Pedretti's former boyfriend... his story goes nowhere at all and yet it started so good (I mean, the creepyness!)! Go figure. Ultimately, I don't regret watching it as I was entertained sufficiently, but this could've easily be a 5 episode miniseries.

Rome - HBO (2015).
A fairly accurate historical fiction series, in two seasons it covers the fall of the Roman Republic with the war between Julius Caesar and Pompey, and then the birth of the Roman Empire with Emperor Augustus (aka Octavian). I particularly loved the scene of Julius Caesar's death on the Ides of March (not much of a spoiler :p ) as one of the best made historical scenes I have ever seen on TV. Good acting, and great personal storylines all throughout the two seasons. Too bad it had to be canceled due to increasing costs.

I like The Flight Attendant, also watching The Mandalorian.

Agreed, a great series. I was disappointed it only lasted two seasons.

Stargate Command
Final episode of Stargate Universe...

Still SUPER butt hurt about the finale...!

Still SUPER butt hurt about the studio striking the sets before the (planned?) closure movie could be filmed...!

Rumors have it that there may be another Stargate TV series in the works, I would truly love, Love, LOVE to see a series that brings all three back together (SG1, SGA, & SGU) and give some real closure to SGU...!!!

But I ain't gonna hold my breath or anything...! ;^p

EDIT TO ADD:

Well, just finishing the last few minutes, SO ANGRY...!

Eli has two weeks to fix his stasis pod or shut off life support & kill himself, and the rest of the crew that are in stasis pods have a three year sleep until they reach the next galaxy (hopefully beyond the drones that have been effing things up for the last half of the second (and final) season...!!!

AAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH...!!! ;^p

I'm at the end of Season 2 of Clone Wars. It's decent so far, but my mind keeps wandering to somewhere else. People have said it starts getting great in Season 3, so hopefully my motivation will increase. I'm doing it because of Ahsoka and The Mandalorian, but so far I'm getting that prequel vibe and other than Revenge of the Sith, I wasn't really a fan of the prequels.

Well, it looks like Komiko (actress Tamlyn Tomita) will be back in Cobra Kai Season 3:

It will sure be an interesting twist to see her role.

Now just waiting to see if Ali (actress Elizabeth Shue) makes an appearance. One conjecture is that she will operate on Miguel.

Also, looks like this awesome trailer for Season 3 is out:

First time I've seen it, and of course looks enticing. Note that about 3/4 of the way through, there is a quick glimpse of Komiko and Chozen.

The excitement for me is really building! And I'm anticipating it will be huge on Netflix, which of course will give a lot of momentum for Season 4.

I finished Queen's Gambit. When the series focused directly on Chess, it was really really great. When it focused on other things, it felt cliched, especially her drinking bender. So far of the new shows I've seen this year, Ted Lasso is still number 1, and it will probably remain number 1. I think I will try to get through The Morning Show before the end of the year though.

Season One of Netflix Daredevil (again)...

Is this the series that was on TBS, a few years ago, or is this a whole new ‘series’?

I am confused about what you are asking...?

I clearly stated (see above self-quote) that I was watching Netflix Daredevil...

I do not recall ANY Marvel / Daredevil TV series EVER being on TBS, and I have been watching Marvel stuff since the 1970's era Spider-Man cartoons in the early AM...

eh

I actually thought there was one on TBS, or some other network, as well.

Just NETFLIX?

Guess not:

I'm still really ticked off at Disney for pulling the license for Netflix to produce the Marvel series' they had. I really liked all of them.

Pumped about Disney+ having SO much MCU / Star Wars shows in the pipeline...!
Unfortunately, Disney isn't going to continue the Marvel series' they had going on Netflix. They released a statement at some point stating that the shows "didn't fit the Disney brand" (they were too violent, had swearing, etc.). They of course could "reboot" a more watered-down version of them, but I doubt they'll do that.
