I got the complete Blu-ray set and it looks great.
Me too - awesome. It’s just the format itself - while nice - is repetitive and a few a week is my threshold

Speaking of great sets, I just received the Gunsmoke complete series set for less than $200 from TCM. It looks great thus far (restored by Paramount) as I am still on season 1.Me too - awesome. It’s just the format itself - while nice - is repetitive and a few a week is my threshold
I really liked the book and film... And just started The Mosquito Coast. Seems painfully slow at this point.
So recommended then?Jupiter's Legacy.... On the last episode... Digging it a lot.
So recommended then?
Cool, Ana Akana is on my "goddess" list so that is a plus.I say yes... you can tell at times there was definitely a budget... but with one episode left, we like it.

I'm going to check it out soon.Really like the tv show so far, seems at a good pace to me but the weekly wait is boring.
Breaking Bad. Really really enjoyed that series. After you finish it you must watch Better Call Saul. You will know why once you get a bit further along in Breaking Bad.I'm still watching Star Trek Enterprise, but I really want to catch up on some of these series I've missed over the last 20 years that are very critical acclaimed. That includes shows like The Wire, Sorpranos, (I tried to like Game of Thrones but it wasn't for me) Mad Men, and the show I started last night, Breaking Bad.

I e been trying to find new shows but it’s hard.
I gave up on Handmaids Tale before the start of the new season. The first was remarkable but then it’s very bad. I couldn’t stand it, more violence, after excision, cutting finger, enucleation…I was just fed up. The stupid June in big first shot in front of the camera ENOUGH. My goldfish Bob has more expressions than her. She is so exasperating.
So I’m trying something new: Made for Love. Why that actress has only 2 facial expression? She looks like a fish with her big eyes. I watched 2 episodes so far, maybe they will hire a scenarist at one point.
I still watching Good Girls. The first season was great but now…ahem. Too many family dramas. And I would rename the show ?♂️ Girls.
Then there is the new season of Mythic Quest. It’s fun, I like it. My favorite character is Brad, so nice what he says about Battle Royale. I like the treatment of the 2 lesbians, it’s better than all these stupid Netflix shows full of tokenism & SJW. We have it here too but it’s a bit sarcastic so it’s fresh!
Still looking for something great.
In 2017, that was my top 20:
I’d like to add Chernobyl & The Boys.
- Banshee
- Game of Thrones
- Breaking Bad
- FARGO
- The Night Of
- American Crime History: The People vs OJ Simpson
- Narcos
- Billions
- Bosch
- Brooklyn Nine-Nine
- Luther
- Peaky Blinders
- People of Earth
- Ray Donovan
- Silicon Valley
- The Wrong Mans
- True Detective (season 1 only)
- Westworld
- Eastbound and Down
- The Brink
X-Files is one of the most iconic tv series in history but I never got to watch it, does it still hold its quality or turned cheesy by today's standard?
I am on E2 , I know shows need time to develop, but doesn't look that interesting to watch.
Also, is it one of those shows that have exact repetitive formula for each episode? I hate those.
For me, it had a lot of hit and miss episodes.X-Files is one of the most iconic tv series in history but I never got to watch it, does it still hold its quality or turned cheesy by today's standard?
