Which TV Series Are You Binging On?

I’m currently on the third season of Justified. I’ve got to be honest - It’s been an extremely slow burner up until the last few episodes of season 2 and the first few episodes of season 3. I’ve stuck with, and I’m glad I did now because so far, the third season has been a good watch, not amazing but still a good watch. The only real reason that I’ve managed to last this far is because I’ve run out of tv series’ to watch.

Succession is next on my list. I was going to watch that before Justified but I was told that Succession is also a very slow burner. And, it was just one of those series that I didn’t like the look of.
Yellowstone is my favourite most recent series.

Supernatural is my all time favourite TV series in its genre.

I’ll have finished Justified soon enough, then it’s onto Succession.

I'm binging Supernatural right now. Didn't get to see it when it was on but I'm addicted to it now. On S12E15 right now and love everyone of them!!! Too busy when I was working for much TV but now that I'm retired catching up on all the shows I wanted to see but didn't have time.

Finished binging on Madmen -- all seasons. I watched it for the first time as I was either too busy or uninterested in it when it was out originally. All I can say is the show is a psychological tour de force. It is brilliantly written and each of the many different characters represented are fascinatingly flawed in their own way -- just like real life.

I've been watching the Syfy series Resident Alien this week. I'm enjoying it so far, 5 episodes in. I'm loving the kids and how they are dealing with him.

Resident Alien is an amazing show, one of my favorite of 2021. Season 2 is coming in a few weeks!!

I would really recommend to watch it.

1980s show--not related to the movies. It's about a couple of cousins who track down cursed antiques sold by their uncle.

I started Yellowstone. It’s okay but it could be much better. Lots of drama and the main story is not moving fast enough. There should be more pictures of the lands, it’s beautiful, even though it looks like it is filmed in Utah and not Montana.

I gave this a look thinking I wouldn’t like it but was surprised that I did. I don’t have much criticism for it besides the season was too short. It seems like “prestige” tv seasons are getting shorter every year.

IMHO - one of the best ever - I really got hooked early on and bought each season on Apple TV - very expensive - but honestly worth it because it is so awesome - have watched it 2 times complete and some episodes more

After Reading your post I am thinking it might be time to start at the beginning for another 3rd pass on this excellent Series

I felt that way for a few episodes - at the begining - but by the 4th episode I was hooked and started to get the gist - really a great series IMHO

One and two, maybe the third. Years ago though, so I basically knew nothing other than the premise. Which puts me in the camp of not knowing what the adaptation has done to the source material. I understand those fans are not happy with it.
