One and two, maybe the third. Years ago though, so I basically knew nothing other than the premise. Which puts me in the camp of not knowing what the adaptation has done to the source material. I understand those fans are not happy with it.

It butchered the source material but I kind of expected that to a degree. To me it pales in comparison to GOT though.

Don’t really watch tv, but so far, have binged on a couple of tv shows in 2021.

Squid Game - 5 stars
Hellbound - 3.5 stars
Silent Sea - 5 stars

Watched one episode of Space Force and had to turn off the drivel. So far, South Korea doing a good job.

Better Call Saul. I've now finished the last DVD set--so I think I'm actually for a moment caught up with the series, although that will end whenever they start airing the next season. It probably will be a while before I see that last season, since I tend to wait until shows are on DVD. I'm too cheap for cable!

Mixed feelings--I like this show, and I'm sad that the next season is apparently The End. Although I have to say, I think I liked Breaking Bad better. Maybe I should rewatch part of Breaking Bad to compare--but that would risk starting a Breaking Bad binge...

I started watching The Witcher. I really like this universe. It is a pity that the seasons are short enough, and the new one has to wait a whole year. Please recommend something similar in atmosphere (I watched Game of Thrones)

I've been waiting for Season 5 to come somewhere because I watched the series up to the end of Season 4. I think I agree that Breaking Bad was better. Better Call Saul kind of feels all over the place and the characters on BB are better. I did, however, like Kim Wexler though.

I have it added 'The Witcher' to the list. Will watch first episode and see if I want to continue.

From NetFlix, the only TV shows I have watched so far are The Squid Game, Hellbound, and The Silent Sea. Both Squid Game and Silent Sea I recommend. They are not set in an alternate universe with magic, but far enough from our reality to keep you captivated.

Just finished 'Undercover'. Belgian TV series, inspired by real events. Netflix then recommends 'Berlin Station', so I guess that's next.

Tried watching The Witcher, but just couldn't get into it. After five minutes, I felt the production, acting, and directing were all amateurish. I had to turn it off after the first ten minutes or so. I feel Game of Thrones is on a whole another level, except for the last couple of seasons. So, I watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), which is an awesome film.

I am not usually a big TV watcher but over the holidays I was on my own and started watching both "1883" and "Mayor of Kingstown". Both pretty gritty, esp. MoK. Fast moving plots, enjoying both of them.
