Just finished 'Stay Close' on Netflix. Pretty good British Crime...short series. Wasn't thrilled about the last episode but still a good mystery crime series. 8 episodes.

I really enjoyed the film "Lucky Luke" a recent French live-action adaptation of the famous comic book. Usually though not always, live actions of comics or manga fall flat but this was excellent. Caveat one should be familiar with European particularly Francophone (Belgian and French) comic books and especially French humour.

I watched this on HBO Max. I really enjoyed it.

I just watched 1883, that latest episode was very moving I cried like a little girl. This show is a masterpiece and it’s already my favourite of 2022. Isabel May is a fantastic actress.

Season 2 of Discovery of witches. Mrs AFB loves it. I'm okay with it. But its defiantly one of those shows I know I'm in the dog house if I talk whilst its on!

Have just finished Season 3 of DoW. I don't know where it will go from here, and will have to check through the books. It seemed to go in a completely different direction.

The foundation is pretty good, so long as you will treat it as a completely separate entity to the books. The production value alone would warrant inquiry IMHO.
This is a good point. I read the books..the themes are distantly similar, but as a separate experience, it's good - I enjoyed the season oddly, after hearing about the major differences to the books. I am anxious for season 2

I may have a man crush on Lee Pace too =).

On my first viewing of The Wire @S2, what a gem.
