there
I need a new series to watch I think. There is just so much out there that it's hard to pick. I have been thinking Fringe, since that is on HBO Max (And I've never seen it) but there is also Eureka which is on Amazon Video. So many choices. Or I just rewatch Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the second time ever.
yes, Fringe was just added recently, i might keep my HBO for more month.

Im on season 6 Da'Sopranos, which is a great TV show for unexpected and plot excellence!
Stugotz!

The German series “Dark” is the best thing I have seen on Netflix, although very complex and you need to concentrate hard.
Very rewarding, if you have the patience! ( I have watched it twice just to understand all of the connections )
You would need to watch it in the original German with English subtitles, as the English overdubs just don't have the same atmosphere.
Another thing: it is dark in all respects – many scenes are dark and impossible to watch in a bright room or during the day, so best to keep it for night-time.
10/10 from me.
+1 on Dark. A very engaging series.

I did start Fringe last night and watched the first two episodes. It's very X-Fily so far, but it isn't bad. I do already like Walter.

It very much is... there are some really good episodes of that show. One of my favorites and Walter is the stand out in my opinion.

Currently watching "Peacmaker" on HBOMax. What a freaking hoot so far. Watching episode three tonight.

Watching Ozark now. Finished season one. Reminds me of a low budget Breaking Bad. Bateman stars, directs, produces the show. I don’t know who else can play his role.

Just you wait, the best is yet to come. Best slow burn series I’ve ever seen. It makes me wonder just how deep can some people get themselves into sh...

Despite the fact that each episode developed in the same manner (you know who the killer is at the beginning of each film) it is very interesting to see what mistake has the killer made. Highly recommend!

The Lost Symbol, from Dan Browns book with the same name.
Seen 4eps, I really like it.
Byt it's a lot of information, and cryptic messages woven in everywhere.
So I think I have to see it over again after finished the 1 season of 10 eps.

This is a good point. I read the books..the themes are distantly similar, but as a separate experience, it's good - I enjoyed the season oddly, after hearing about the major differences to the books. I am anxious for season 2
Bears absolutely no relation to the books. At all. In fact, it deliberately goes against the basic premise of the books in several areas, for no good reason, much to its detriment. The final episode descended into soap opera territory. Visuals are good - though if you'll recognise almost everything as being taken from some other show or movie. Acting goes from acceptable to toe-curlingly appalling. Writing overall dismal. Humanoid robot shockingly reveals that it's a robot by peeling back a piece of skin to reveal that it's a robot! In every episode! It's a robot! Look! A robot!

I didn't like it.

Just finished Around the world in 80 Days, w/David Tennant.
An interesting interpretation of the book.

Also interesting was the appearance of the character of Bass Reeves (look him up, I'm not going to give you a linky).
Who also showed up in the Watchmen series of 2019 (and if you haven't watched that, you should).

Just watched the first episode of All Of Us Are Dead

WOW! Great show, original use of camera angles, makes it pretty exciting, loads of gore, lovely stuff. Not bad acting either. I watched it with English voice over. They seemed alright.
But I think anyone who likes gore and zombies should give it a go, it's not for kids though.

Looks like all of season 1 was posted on Netflix today.

Enjoying Santa Clarita Diet these days!

I was bummed when they cancelled this show. We really liked it.

On Season three of Ozark. I freaking love this show!!!!

Also watchin "Peacemaker"... if you haven't seen this show, watch it. It is funny, far out, and did I mention a good time! One of my favorites right now. I don't know why, but this one is striking all the right chords for me. Good stuff!
