The South Koreans are really knocking it out of the park on Netflix. If you're still into zombies, this show is awesome. (and I highly recommend watching any of the Korean shows in Korean with sub-titles. Watching with English translation is in my opinion, not as good.

The German series “Dark” is the best thing I have seen on Netflix, although very complex and you need to concentrate hard.
Very rewarding, if you have the patience! ( I have watched it twice just to understand all of the connections )
You would need to watch it in the original German with English subtitles, as the English overdubs just don't have the same atmosphere.
Another thing: it is dark in all respects – many scenes are dark and impossible to watch in a bright room or during the day, so best to keep it for night-time.
10/10 from me.
Glad to hear I’m not losing my faculties like I was beginning to think. I started watching Dark, and boy, you sure need to pay attention. I have one episode left in S1 and plan on watching the whole season all over again before moving on.
Yup, the German with English sub-titles is the way to go. The English dubbed over the German video with English sub-titles often translates poorly or incorrectly. Just not the same as it being in German. You pick up a bit of German while you’re at it. Good to hear the effort is worth it. You sure have to work hard.
I can see it’s not for everyone. S

Finished Money Heist yesterday!! What a series!! I absolutely loved it and was so bonded with the characters it was incredible.
We only finished watching it to the end because we had so much time invested in it. Money Heist jumped the shark near the end. It became cornball, in our opinion. My brother recommended to us before he’d seen it all and stopped watching it altogether…issuing us a ‘Sorry about that’. S

I thought parts 1 and 2 were fabulous, 3 and 4 slowed down a bit but part 5 was back to great. If you missed the finale it was a very good one!!! Could not get through it dry eyed!!

I've lost track of what was going on and how many seasons there are and what I've seen... lol

Think Nacho and Lalo in Mexico, at the latter's compound/house…

I usually binge the previous season before the new one starts. It will have been two years since the last new episode aired, so…

I think I'll be doing that as well to remind myself about what transpired. Another option is to read the wikipedia with the episode descriptions if you don't have the time to binge last season. Better Call Saul Season 5

Watched S1 of Reacher, and enjoyed it very much. Wondering what Amazon is going to charge for S2, now that I'm hooked ("The first one's free, kid.").

I really enjoyed the books, and as others have mentioned, it's good to see someone cast as Reacher that actually fits the role.

The Imposters - finished the series and it was great.

Enjoyed first three episodes of Bel Air.

I am currently binging Los Enviados / The Envoys on Paramount Plus. I mean ... Miguel Ángel Silvestre, how can I not ?

Two priests from the Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith arrive in San Acacio, a small town in Mexico, as envoys. They go with the objective of verifying a supposed miraculous healing by another priest who mysteriously disappears. Shortly after arriving there, they come across a psychiatric community on the outskirts, which seems to hide more than one secret regarding the miracles and disappearances that take place there. The religious men fear for their lives as their faith is pushed to the extreme.

Well that is definitely a more diplomatic response than I wanted to share, but first world problems, etc. I doubt those shows will land on D+, as they were very graphic. Hulu seems more likely.
Oh god, what if Disney “cleans them up” for D+?
Probably on Hulu in the US and D+ internationally as "explicit content" is part of D+ in other markets besides Latin American where you have to pay extra for "Star+" for no reason whatsoever

Just finished Reacher, can’t wait to pay for Season 2. Now grazing through:

1- Inventing Anna - fascinating to me
2- The Woman in the House across the Street from the Girl in the Window - interesting parody of thrillers/whodunits, love Mary Holland and her role as Sloane
3- The Great British Baking Show - oh the horrors of a cracked meringue! Never watched this before, but it sets the bar for a tasty reality show without the histrionics of most US cooking competitions.
4- Archive81 - researchers looking through old films of a missing filmmaker, a bit slow but interesting in a “Twilight Zone” way with twists and turns throughout, and maddeningly stupid decisions made by the protagonist. Looks to be a one-season wonder, but an entertaining one to be sure.

I tried to watch this with the wife and that dubbing was just taking me out of the story. She didn’t mind it but I couldn’t finish it. I’ll have to give it another shot with subtitles.

Just watched four episodes of the The Righteous Gemstones... what a freaking show! And I wonder how much of it is based of some of our very wealthy evangelists that are out there. Maybe not the crime... or maybe there is some of that sprinkled in. But the show is a freaking hoot.

Finished Season 4 of Fringe last night. Hopefully I finish the season in the next week, and then I can rewatch Star Trek Picard to get ready for that series to return.

Like I said...we watched it all. I thought the wheels fell off near the end. It started off so well.
Each to their own I suppose. Cheers. S

I started off with the German audio/English sub-titles, then switched to try the English dubbed over/English sub-titles. Could NOT do it. Went right back barely ten minutes later.
The English dub (translation from the original German) didn't jive with the English sub-titles below.
Made it unwatchable in my opinion.
I have completed S1. I am going to re-watch it to try to figure it out. No messing with the laptop while watching Dark. S

Since the Netflix marvel series are going bye-bye from Netflix, I'm in the process of binging them.

Daredevil: done
Defenders: done
Luke Cage: watching S2
Jessica Jones: watching S3
Iron Fist:..... nah I have had enough of him in the Defenders... ?

Dexter: New Blood.

Takes place ten years after the original series / story line.
Very good so far. I liked the original series a great deal.

I finished Ozark, I really enjoyed it. I like a lot Ruth and then I started Inviting Anna. Honestly, not a great show (Shonda this Shonda that, she recycled half the cast of Scandal) but just to see the actress of Ruth in a different role, it’s fascinating. She lost her redneck accent to something…more weird, no?

And tonight, I mean yesterday for all my kiwis friends…Wellington Paranormal is back! WOUHOUHOUH I love that show.

Just finished Reacher but the wait for season 2 is likely to be a long one, and Blue Bloods is on hiatus for a while. Any other suggestions?
