Its been three years since the last episode of season 2.

A little taste of an impressive opening sequence:

I've seen the new opening. I've also seen the trailer that came out this week. The show looks fantastic, at least from a visual standpoint. I hope the stories live up to it.

The Great White North
Orville is more about relationships, while Discovery is about personal development.
Meh not seeing that in discovery, especially since the captain whispers most of her lines (bad acting, delivery), and the crew tears up after each mission (bad characterization) and all come together for a group hug (false sense of comradely built off shallowness and insecurities). It's not just bad Trek, it's just a bad show.

Anyhow let's not derail this thread as opinions of this show are so wild and perverse, but if you enjoy it great!

Finished Doom Patrol season 1. Great series, a little long but in a positive way. They took their time to introduce the characters. Going to start season 2 soon.

The Endgame, this one is great. Massive 24 and early Blacklist vibes. Very quickly paced. It's only 10 episodes, so it's over quickly. Biggest mistake, they brought it to NBC. NBC sucks when it comes to series and this one is no exception, they did not order a second season. Still well worth watching.

On episode 3 of Star Trek Strange New Worlds and it's boooorrring so far. Some nice scenes here and there, but overall pretty meh. Not as boring as Discovery, but still.

Finished Halo season 1. I'm not a fan of the games, I have not played them all. I can't really remember anything from the games except there's a Masterchief and a halo... the series was a pleasant surprise. There is one bad episode and one so-so, the rest was done really well. Can't wait for season 2.

Wonder if I can squeeze in Night Sky before Stranger Things season 4 part 1 (wtf?!?) hits next week. Then again, maybe I should wait until the full season 4 is available to watch it.

Not a “tv show” but I feel it needs the appreciation.
Shoutout to the screensavers on Apple TV! Totes legit. Especially the Icelandic shots recently added.
These reinforce my conviction that if I had a superpower to choose, it would be flight because I would just fly around and bliss out on all the natural beauty on display at my leisure.

I've been binging the new ? Kids In The Hall
Original cast and some of the writers. Not too bad, but not the way I remember it from the 80's and early 90's.
Low and behold, Prime has the original series to stream.

I've been told the first episode is slow. Slower than a county worker ;). It does get better.
I plane to start this series this weekend.
I think this show is fantastic. I tore through #1-4 yesterday and will likely finish it today. J.K. Simmons is such a treasure.

Jury is out on him for me.

We'll see if I can tolerate more of it...
I liked him since the days of 'Vern Schillinger' on that HBO show Oz from the 90's.

I agree it's a bit slow but the mystery of wtf is going on as you meet more characters and realize that the little secret in their shed isn't the only little secret in this world. My friend who's watched it all says it keeps getting better and better.

Bosch: Legacy is pretty good. They’re dropping two episodes per week which is nice. I think this next Friday will be the end of season one unless it goes beyond 10 episodes. If you’ve watched the original series on Prime you’ll like this iteration. Even though I dropped Prime, I’ve been able to watch it using the app on AppleTV. Although a Freevee app did just launch on the AppleTV I haven’t used it yet.
Side note: not digging the revamped AppleTV UI optimized for the new remotes. The Prime interface is really bad with the old Siri remote, imho. Not sure if it would be any better with the new remote.

Watched all of Lincoln Lawyer, like it a lot. Ready for season 2!

Just started Barry. Unusual premise, interesting.

I can't remember - has anyone here mentioned Tokyo Vice? Great show.

Bosch is great it is a very magnetic show, hard to tell why.

Are you watching the new series, Bosch: Legacy... I can't put a finger on why it is so good too. One of my favorite shows right now and Legacy picks up right where the series ends on Amazon.

We are on the final season of Ozark... Season three finale was great... Didn't see the (spoiler) the lawyer getting it like she did. Was kind of shocked to tell you the truth. Great way to end the season...
