.. I'm a late-comer to this British historical saga (shown on tv via PBS Masterpiece). When out shopping one morning a while ago, saw, and decided to purchase the dvd collection of the series (box set of the five seasons). Now into the viewing, and about to finish the first season, and I'll admit to being totally-captured. Engaging story lines, well-acted portrayals, and photography throughout that is just fantastic. Not difficult for me to look forward to viewing another episode.

Actually you're very late to it. 😃 The original was broadcast in the mid seventies (BBC) and was required Sunday night viewing for all of us. It had the sort of viewership figures the BBC can only dream about now. Went on for years I think. The only issue I have with it is that it's always associated in my mind with with Sunday night baths, not done homework and that school tomorrow sort of feeling...

Here's a link to the very first episode someone has posted to YouTube.

Both versions were great series...

Just started with the new season of Slow Horses and flipping heck! That’s how you do it in the first 10 minutes, before the credits! Bye bye Jack…… or is it.. still watching the first episode.

But lots of new characters too which is good to see.

EDIT: ok, well that’s a twist to set up the story for this season!

Dude, at least slap that bit with a spoiler tag, now you have ruined the moment for me...

Almost too much going on at the moment.

Just finished KAOS, which I enjoyed.

Also finished Dead Boys Detectives, which I also enjoyed, even if I felt it was a bit uneven.

Now, we're binging Taskmaster (the original UK version). I really like that show. :)

Still watching Burn Notice, but it's average, at best, and I rarely watch more than a couple of episodes at the time (and I often "zone out" and get more (pre-) occupied with my computer or something else, while watching it).

Also, started watching: One Piece (the live action version), Slow Horses (the new season, with only one show a week, but still looks to be one of the best shows on TV at the moment), Sweet Tooth (the new series), and The Last Airbender (the live action show), but - for different reasons - I watch those mostly one episode at the time, so not really binging... ;)

Edit: Oh, and the new series of Hit Monkey. I really liked the first season of that.

Not too thrilled about (the first episode of) the new Futurama series, but I'll probably gonna watch more of that.

That has put Shogun (which I do wanna binge), The Umbrella Academy (still considering re-watching series 1-3 before season 4), 3 Body Problem (Netfix' version), House of Dragon (the new series), and a few other shows on the "waiting list", for now...

I love Burn Notice. But I agree it isn't anything more than average.
Slow Horses,Bad Monkey, are very good.
I was really let down by the finale of The Umbrella Academy.

Another episode dropped yesterday. If you get the chance I suggest you watch them as so far it's great as usual. Looks like a very interesting storyline.

Think the first episode was only 30 odd ministers long, second one is around 49 minutes.

I've seen One Piece which is excellent, Three Body Problem which is good, and Slow Horses which is a brilliant show.

Also another shout for Bad Monkey, got a few more to watch but Vince is really good in it.

Still watching Fargo...

Season S3E3... so far my favorite scene involves the air conditioner...

Also started "Under the Bridge", three episodes in. If ever there was ever a group of kids that you absolutely want to hate... look no further, this one takes the cake.

I'm late to the Slow Horses team. Loving it.

My dad just binged "The Old Man" on Hulu in anticipation of season 2 starting tonight. We can't binge season 2 since it will release one episode per week, but I would if I could! :)

For a lot of those shows that release one per week, I wait until it's all out and then binge. Much better continuity that way.
