me too, because even though its early in the contest, it looks like HD-DVD is gonna win out in the format war.

I want the 4 layer 100 GB disk!

Neither for me thanks.... DVD on the PC was a success because of the fact that you could play movies on it as well, unless both formats gets all the movies I dont see the advantage of splitting the PC industry away from the movie industry yet, so if the consumers go hd-dvd for their movies then I will want that in my mac, but until one wins, DVD does well for my movies and well enough for storage.

Both formats won't get all the movies... since the movie industry is split between the two formats.

Eventually, one format will win and the other studios will concede, but it'll be a while.
