white iPhone owners.... are you happy with your choice to get white???

See, that's exactly why I got a white one AGAIN, instead of switching to black when the 3GS came out. Cracks = replacement = new phone. ;)
 
i love the gold case with the white phone.

I got white and I still much prefer it to the black color. Personally, I don't think the silver buttons go well at all with the black coloring. The white design looks like it is better thought out.

I already made my decision though. I went after work today and got a beautiful WHITE iphone!!! I LOVE it already!!! Thanks everyone for your opinions!:)
 
I bought a white 3g and 3gs. I love it. I’d never buy a black one. Black just looks like your every day blackberry. White is classic Apple. :D
 
Yes, I'm glad I got the white especially since I live out in the desert. It already gets warm enough as it is (Trust me, I make sure I don't use it when it's extremely hot like 110+ and higher). Black would've just been worse in that regards. Oh, and I keep mine naked, not a problem for me not using a case. As for it looking too feminine, I don't know. Seems silly that people attribute gender to the color of the iPhone. It's a tool or a toy, depending on your use. Enjoy it. ;)
 
I have white because I figured it was a little different and matched my Macbook. White, to me, is still iconic for Apple. I know everything is aluminum and glass now, but I wanted it to look like the now older "white" Apple products like the iPods, Mighty Mouse, Macbook, etc.

I think the next one I get will be black or metallic if they have it. I'm waiting until my contract is up. We'll see.

FYI, I have a clear Griffin case for it, it looks cool. No cracks in mine.
 
I'm male and married and have a white 3G.

I have a case on it so it doesn't matter one bit. But I do like the white better!
 
I'm 100% happy. I have had an iPhone 3G 16GB white and I now have the iPhone 3GS 32GB white. I love the white and I don't think I'll ever buy a black one.
 
Get Black

I got a white one when the 3G first came out cause it was the only color left and I forever wished I had gotten black so when the 3GS came out I pre-ordered black, if that helps.
 
Even though I keep a case on mine, I love my white 3gs when it's out of the case. Not to mention there aren't many people with them, so it's much easier to tell yours apart.

I've even had a few people ask me where I got my "custom white case" since they thought all iphones were black. (lol?)

Because it is. :) Black is elegant, white is sterile, like a hospital, like Navy uniforms. White represents absence, a null so to speak:) A man with a white iphone might as well have pastel pink :D

I just hope Apple releases more colors. Both are getting to blase.
 
I wasn't sure which one to get at first. But once I was looking at them in the store I was looking around and realized that white represented Apple better than black. I have been 100% happy with my choice.

I am not going disagree with your choice, just your logic. I brought my phone to represent me, not some corp. (It's a given I only had two choices:)) I will happily purchase a product to represent Apple for a small fee:D
 
get white, its by far the best.

i chose white cos its different and every1 seems to have black. dont want to be associated with a 3G user ;)

ps/ stil dont understand why pplwrap their ipohne up in a case. its big enough as it is... plus all cases are either ugly or a pain to use with

Don't get this statement, what's the cosmetic difference between a white 3G & white 3GS?
 
I have a white iPhone 3G and I am not too happy with it.

For the longest time I used no case, and all was good. Then I started to drop my phone for whatever reason. So I decided to get a leather pull-tab case from Incipio. Their cases are designed very well with one exception. The back of my iPhone is a "reddish-brown" color. I do not know if this is from the case or because my phone go too hot in the case. Either way it distracts me a lot.

When I purchase the next iPhone, and if they have two color variants, I will be getting the black version.

After having the black 2G, I was dead-set on getting the white 3GS two weeks ago. I went into the Apple Store and when the guy confirmed my white 16GB, I then said "Do you have any black in stock?" I have no idea why I changed my mind but I'm glad I did. My wife got a white 3GS a week after and it just doesn't seem like it would be for me.

I got a silver SGP slim case for mine so the phone matches my MacBook Pro, which is also metal with a black Speck case protecting it. They match perfectly.

Maybe on the next upgrade :)
