white iPhone owners.... are you happy with your choice to get white???

I got a silver SGP slim case for mine so the phone matches my MacBook Pro, which is also metal with a black Speck case protecting it. They match perfectly.

Maybe on the next upgrade :)

He is talking about the 2nd gen phone aka the plain old 3g. the 3gs is the third gen phone
 
I love my white 3gs. The only bad thing is the micro cracks by the dock port that appeared a month after I got it and the cracks by the top button that i noticed a week ago.:(
 
I had a white 16gb 3g and now have a white 32gb 3gs and love both. Every phone company makes black phones. You pull out your white iPhone and everyone knows it's an iPhone. Plus, like others have said, white is classic Apple.
 
I have white and I will buy white again, unless they come out with colors in a future model.
I bought a black iPod 5G, and it looked great at first, but over time, it just didn't seem to hold up as well as my previous white one when it came to appearance.

I use a Power Support silicone jacket on it. I like how it fits and feels.

I have the white one. I guess you do notice the cracks more, but you have it in a case, so you never see them anyway. However, the case I got is the belkin one that has clear lines through it so you can see the white kind of shining through it and I think it looks cool. If it was the black one you wouldn't see the lines or at least they would be hardly noticeable. I'm very happy with my choice of the white one. I did it as homage to the original white ipod.
 
I got white because it's all they had left in the 32GB. It's in a case so I can't see it anyway.


I take it out of the case occasionally to clean it and I admire its looks.

I think the white is slightly more eye catching than the black.

I'm in the UK and have a 16GB white 3GS and..

LOVE IT!

So glad I didn't get the black version but I guess it comes down to personal preference.

Where it should have been:
"Both are getting too blase"

Sorry, but the use of "to" where it should be "too" is a pet peeve of mine.

As for the white vs. black iPhone I'm debating which one to get but I'm leaning towards the black one. It's easier to hide, can't see the cracks as easily and matches my stuff better. But there isn't a wrong answer here, either color is good.
 
Love the white. It's more eye-catching and matches everything I already have - my MacBook, earphones, cables, etc etc. And of course it would drive me nuts if it didn't all match! Same reason why I got a white MacBook a few years ago instead of a blackbook.

Although I'm a white Scandinavian with blond hair, pink skin and blue eyes, I still chose the black iPhone. Everything else in my life is white though: my girlfriend, my friends, my pussycat, my car, even my house (well, except the roof). :):cool:
 
Do the white cases get discolored over time? Are they affected by sweat? (As you may know, sometime dark spots are developed on the palm rest area of the Macbook Pros due to sweat from users. I wonder if the white iPhones have this problem.) Is it easy to clean them if they are dirty?

i love my white 3G, and i will continue buying the while model unless apple gets their head out of their ass and makes some more colors. ;)
